This is really stunning, but, I'm going to have to turn it down. Sorry, but I tried this, and its way too complicated for me. I can't even figure out how to add my server to the thing, let alone play. Sorry. I fail like a newb, but that is what I am, lol. Good luck

 

You put the Spout.jar in your server's plugins folder like any other plugin, add any other Spout plugins such as JukeBukkit, SpoutCreatures, etc into the same folder, start your server, and connect using the Spoutcraft client.

You use the Spoutcraft client, you simply download the launcher or updater and login to install it.

Could you add some anti-sneak stuff ? Or atleast that nameplates are still visible while sneaking ?

 

Pretty sure a plugin could add that.

The last recommended build of Spoutcraft is 769, not 788. You are using the latest dev build.
Downgrade and it will work fine.

It's a bug with XenForo. Thought it was fixed, but looking into it now.

 

What's the Spout build compatible with last Spoutcraft version ?
Cause i'm using 510, and my players crash now.

 

If they are using the latest dev build of the client, then you need the latest dev build on the server. You and your players should be using recommended builds only though. Tell them to downgrade to the latest recommended build by unchecking the dev build option on the launcher before logging in.

To a dedicated server once it's available.

I'm using last recommend build of Spoutcraft (788) and last Spout RB (510)
And all my plugins are dead and I got an error wich say 'received string under zero' ...

 

Whats the deal with the ci.getspout.org page?

Are dev builds on all projects stopped at the moment?

 

It's just on standby to prevent new builds so I don't have to make new backups before moving hosts.

Spout is amazing, Our server has been using it for a while now Its simply Amazing, It brings a whole new look To Minecraft. Fantastic Job guys! I also have a question. I know you can alter the HUD, and such but would it be possible for a plugin to have Things such as a custom Friends List, Clan Menu, Total Money, And such like For RP servers this would be amazing to have a "World of Warcraft" or any mmorpg kinda look and theme.

I already removed my plugin manager, but still the code shows up, and I can't use Spout (I use it for PersonalChest)

Try, try again. The issue is that it's corrupt, so either it didn't finish downloading or the link you obtained it from is corrupt, but likely the first.

No problem. Where were you downloading the Spout.jar from?

 

Please can the spoutcraft (maybe just for mac) client be updated so that spoutcraft runs inside the "Spoutcraft.app" instead of launching "org.spoutcraft.launcher.main", also http://getspout.org has been suspended

 

I will likely be changed once the launcher has been merged with the updater. We are aware of the site situation too. It's from overuse of the current host. Hopefully getting a dedicated server setup for it soon.
