Bukkit still has almost 200 plugins marked only with [953] in the active plugin list.

I finished my Censor plugin and tested it on my server. I've resubmitted it for approval, hopefully they accept it soon. I'm pretty happy with the result.

    soon here : http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/censorit/

We are aiming to decrease this down to a more reasonable level. Thank you for your patience.

I could help you do that (or is this post then against the rules, since I may not ask for such a position?)

If you are an active, helpful, knowledgeable user in the community, you'll get noticed (at least by me). Don't quote me on this, but I believe we are on the hunt for more people to help. That's about all I can say right now.

Do you want to get banned? Its not against the TOS to quote me, but I can ban you if you really want me to. All I mean is what I say may not be confirmed by any other team member.

We are always on the lookout for active community members, both here and elsewhere. We are aware that approval times can be quite long, but we are making moves towards improving this situation. A couple of these steps may have already been noted and we hope to keep approval times down going forward.

1-3 days for more than 1000+ plugin submissions? That's actually pretty good... and umm... I would like to be a moderator if that's ok with you. Where do I go to apply for mod?

The administrators have regular meetings to decide on who should be given moderator rights. This decision is usually negatively influenced by asking for the position. If you are a diligent member you are usually quickly noticed by the moderation team (even if nothing happens) and we may consider you for a moderation position.

"You" is a general case here.

I don't understand all the complaining - a day or so is nothing, your plugin isn't going to crash and burn if it's not on the plugin list instantly. ;) The current mods working on approvals are doing a fine job, and while more might help the situation, you have to keep in mind that with more people comes more organizational problems, trying to get everyone working on the same wavelength.

  15. Don't apply for a moderator *facepalm*. Thats the number 2 rule on here, with 1 being don't be a idiot. Read the rules, they yell at people all the time for it! Start helping in #Bukkitdev, #Bukkit, the Plugin development forum and the Bukkit help forum, and you'll get noticed. Hopefully :p

This has probably decreased immensely. The past week I've seen many Moderators Moving/Closing/Re-Naming Inactive Plugins.

Yeah... I had this one plugin that took about 5 days to approve. Then I made another plugin, and it took 12 hours to approve! LOL completely random XD
