Do you happen to be running a 1.9 prerelease of the minecraft client?

    gotgot1995

    No, I'm running the 1.8.1 'cause I have got minecraft 1.8.1 !

So have you got any idea ? What I have to do for making this working ?

What craftbukkit version are you running? Is the server running on the same machine that your client is running on? What is the IP you are using to connect to the server?

    Actually I'm using the
    Code:
    server version Beta 1.8.1
I'm also using the minecraft (client) version 1.8.1 and yes, I'm using the server on the same machine as my client.
I also use the IP of hamashi, which is : 5.150.153.230 (I don't know if I must add the port 25565 after the IP in minecraft)
    And that's all !
    Thanks again !

To connect to the server on the same machine use the IP: "localhost" or "127.0.0.1"
To get your craftbukkit server version type "version" into its window, and it is the 4 numbers right before "jnks".

    Code:
    ...1240jnks...
Is that what you wanted ?

when I type 127.0.0.1 in minecraft, the serveur is not detected !

Try using the same IP that your computer uses

Double click on it anyways, if it doesn't not connect, you are not running a server on the same machine. 127.0.0.1/localhost is the loopback/home address, it is the computer talking itself.

I don't know of any situation other than the server not actually starting on the same machine you play minecraft, for both of those not working. I can only assume some angry firewall software.

Are there error messages in the server console?

Ok... I've checked my firewall options and, It's supposed to be working ! But it's not !
    WHAT DO I DO !

Are you sure the server is starting correctly? No errors are being thrown?

Go into your server.properties, and make "server-ip:" empty afterwards.

You seem to have filled it out using the external IP of your router/gateway, which is probably NOT the IP of the computer. Meaning it is listening on an IP it doesnt have.

Ok so... I leave the "server-ip" blank and I don't do anything else ?

    I left it blank.
Then I went to the "Multi player" part and then I typed "localhost" and the server is appeared.
But when I choose my server, it continue to do the same thing !
    Connecting...
    CONNECTION LOST !
    I'm lost ! :(

It really seems like your minecraft client is not version 1.8.1

    @gotgot1995
Does it happen all the time?
It sometimes happens if you double-click the server in the server's list.
If that error happens, wait for 1-2 minutes and SELECT the server and click "join"

Yes, it happens all the time !
    Sorry !
