i use craftbukkit 328 shoud i update? cus i cant seem to get my server to run on 1.3 :/

 

You need to wait for a new build which is compatible.

Meanwhile I can't even connect to minecraft.net although I can on their website. :/

 

Guys, bukkit is not working with new update and probably won't work for a while. Use old clients or unmoded server until they update Bukkit.

 

Did the protocol change? Can I just hack together my older bukkit to allow the newer client?

I updated mine when it said did I want to update but now it went back to 1.2_02..

No. You need to use the old minecraft or update the server. Since updating the server isn't possible, your only bet is to use the old minecraft client.

Does anyone have the same problem as me?
I cannot to connect to Minecraft.net with the new launcher.
I can connect to Minecraft.net with the old launcher, however its in Beta 1.2_02.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

So this new world format, doe's anyone know if its faster? or even pro/cons of it?

 

you can run your server by downloading the new minecraft_server.jar and start server with it, but it disables most of commands and all the plugins!

That's why I told the Bukkit devs to make CB as HARD to use as they can, to weed out newbs.

 

I guess this will work if I use bootcamp, but does anyone have a Mac/Linux copy?
