in essential's config.yml theres a setting:
# Mob limit on spawnmob
spawnmob-limit: 10
If you're trying to spawn more than you have that set to it will not let you.

 

I'm kinda having an issue with the nether. I've got the nether working just fine with the /world command, but when I use it, it always places me at -1 1 23, which just so happens to be at the bottom of a massive lava lake. What I would like to know is this: since I can manually edit the spawn.yml, could I add the line nether: x y z for where it sticks me when I tp? I'm pretty positive that if I try to /setspawn in the nether, It will change my normal world's spawn as well. One other question, I know you can set the timer for the teleport command, but can you add a line for the /jump command as well? If so, would it just be jump-delay:[x]?

 

I have confirmed that the command-echo issue is a Bukkit bug. I am in the process of submitting a fix for review. Please do not post further requests for a fix.

 

/clearinventory displays the inventory cleared message, but doesn't actually clean my inventory.

hi i have a problem i have update essentials and since then i can't use the commands
i become the output:
Syntax error, please provice a source and a target

 

You can already do this /i 35:12 32 for example

 

Essentials dont become load why?

 

I can't use the whitelist plugin with this...

I'm actually using Bukkit build 349 and essentials v210

 

There is a bug with /home. Some users have the issue that the command sends them somewhere else each time, little offsets from the /sethome location. Only if I remove the digits behind the . in the config and replace all with .0, the /home is accurate again.

 

/i and /item are the same thing lol

 

yeah i know, but my users and i want to type in orangecloth, to get orange cloth , redcloth to get red cloth, pine to get pine, etc

How do i use the nether?

 

Make sure it is enabled in your Essentials/config.yml and then you can use the /world command to teleport between normal and nether. (Example: /world nether)

 

How would I get multiple worlds (e.g. /world awesomeworld)?

 

Look in plugins/Essentials/config.yml, there's a section for multiple worlds, you can name 'nether' to whatever you want.

 

it would be great if the message about the players currently online when you join was the same when you type /online. It should also show how many people are online out of max people allowed.

 

and how long should it take

 

Also the /who command should be able to use the prefix and suffix properly even if the chat system is not activated. I have HeroChat installed and I am afraid that the chat system interferes with it so I disabled it. But I still want to have the prefix/suffix used in the/online etc.

Have you resolved this issue? I moved servers and grabbed the latest craftbukkit and essentials. When I start my server, I get the same error message as you. If you have fixed this, I'd like to know what you did.

 

Hello I am having major issues I am running a server MyMcserv and they updates bukkit to 346 and I am running essentials 211 I belive and my Plugins are whitelist, world guard, world edit, friendly creepers, levelcraft, iChat, permissions, iconomy, essentials and i have my settings correct because it worked with a diffrent version of bukkit and essentials but now when ever any one logs in every essentials command is unable to be used and when someone does /help it bring up the console help not essential please help me

We just downloaded the essentials plugin and tried to start it.
Everything worked, but one of our admins can't do anything, not even after being added.
everything is set right, but he cant do anything. His name does not change colour either.
What can this be?

 

What version of craftbukkit are you running?

 

We just installed the latest today.

 

Go back 1 build of craftbukkit. People should check the commits of bukkit / craftbukkit first
