Hmm, seems creative. Maybe a video or screenshots would help me understand more.. I'm a visual guy

 

I'll get a video together sometime today. The gist of the plugin is that when the command is given, one person is randomly chosen to be kicked while the rest survive.

Nice but can you make it like you have to put money in it? like Nspleef ?

 

I can look into it, but I would like to keep the plugin as simple as possible. No guarantees... it just depends on how I feel.

At the moment I'm on vacation so I won't be able to code until the beginning of August.

This is a side affect of using the plugin on 1.8.x as is. Hopefully this will be fixed in a later 1.8.x patch.

Add another permission like: roulette.ignore - Ignore that user/group from being kicked/nuked/moab...
As some people might not want to take part in the game....

Already implemented as rr.safe. I'm glad you enjoy the plugin!

 

How does the chance work? does it go less each time its used? After 5th use then the next player will die or get kicked?

And is there a "/rr spin" to reset the chamber? " **SPINS** You feling lucky? "

 

The plugin randomly selects a user that doesn't have the rr.safe permission, is in the same world as the command was issued, and isn't op.

As far as a reset command, there isn't one as there is no need for it (see above).

RussianRoulette development
RussianRoulette is currently in a feature freeze and will not receive major updates for quite some time. An emergency patch for R5 is planned. No ETA has been determined yet, but it is high priority. Within the coming months, the following will happen:

• RussianRoulette will gain full-on Spout support. This means that the upcoming Spout server will be fully supported (hopefully with the same file!).
• RussianRoulette will be ported to the Minecraft API (still using the same file if possible) once it is released and I feel up for rewriting code once again.

 

This update will work with 1.1-R6 and above. The update also includes a Metrics system to track plugin usage. To view stats, visit here. You can disable tracking within the PluginMetrics folder.
