    Can the rage. It was a mistake that we are trying to remedy. alta189 was trying to prevent a 1.8 meltdown.

    Try now. It should work.

    UAC issues should also be fixed now for anyone who is using the Spoutcraft.exe. A redownload of that would be needed.

    No rage at all...only rage is coming from my users.

    Simply was asking why the build wasn't tested first before pushing it as a recommended build.

    Neither me nor others want to see mistakes made like this and I only offer some constructive criticism.

    Well you must understand that as server admins, stuff like this causes issues. We all understand that you all try your best but basic testing can take up to 5 minutes at most.

    The build was tested, but not in the way that would cause the white screen issue.

    We'd prefer mistakes not be made at all, but we are only human.

    yeah, the current one leaves much to be desired, I agree. We'll be setting up a "new and improved" version that will look different than the public server list eventually.

    The favorites list will likely remain the same though.

    Any chance that the exe for the launcher could get native Windows 7 support?

    When I say this, I mean not having it open another icon down on the taskbar when it is running.

    Yeah, I thought I had that. I'll update the exe.

    Edit: Oh, because the .exe is actually just the launcher's updater, it will always open the launcher itself in a new window. We'll be wrapping just he launcher into an exe eventually, but the launcher currently doesn't update itself and there isn't really an easy way.

    I can't seem to enable mip mapping no matter what I do. I've tried it on the default texture pack and also on Eldcraft both of which are, naturally, 16x16. Any ideas?

    I believe they disabled that feature because it is horribly buggy and not well done at all.

    No, it wasn't an error report, it was just me crying and stupefied with the 16000+ lines :p

    Could what you have done with texture packs (server > client) be done with Shader mods?
    a little bump. I think my question got lost in the mix.

    Texture packs are a bit different than actual mods that involve modified class files. Client addons/mods will be possible though through the use of the Spoutcraft client addon API and the plan is to be able to send addons to the client as needed.

    So who ever makes a shader mod has to use Spoutcraft client addon AP? Or can someone use the API to make a plugin that installs any shader mod?

    Hi. I have a suggestion. I'm trying to use a custom texture pack with the default water. I can't because it automatically simplifies the water when I use a texture pack. Can you make it so it doesn't simplify the water unless you add the custom water files?

    and the person in question who is having the issue is running spout craft version 262

    Posted on your thread...not a Spout issue

    That is a rather old version of Spoutcraft....have him clear out his .spoutcraft folder in %APPDATA% (except for texturepacks and screenshots)....download the LATEST exe (found on the bukkit dev link above) and then try it again

    First off, great work on this and so far I haven't encountered any problems at all.
    However, I have a question for the future once the client API and such gets out and mods actually become a reality with this.
    Will running several mods, let's just say for an example some furniture mods, possibly some plane mod just as an example going to lower the performance of the server depending on bandwidth and so on?
