    @mineykong
    I believe group names are case sensitive.

    @wachnlurn
    You don't edit the permissions.yml in the root directory of the server. It should be located in <bukkit_dir>/plugins/PermissionsBukkit/.

    Edit: PermissionsBukkit works fine, however, I recommend PermissionsEx
    It supports superperms and the old Permissions API so plugins (like mine) can still have access to groups.

    why shouldn't i edit permissions.yml? will that mess up my plugins if i create custom nodes?
    I havnt even officially installed permbukkit yet or any other permissions plugin, i installed it once. added my custom nodes made my groups added my nodes to my groups...but i forgot to delete the perm 3.x from the server so i had a bunch of errors, so i decided i will do this all offline and test before hand.

    ok new question, where can i find documentation for permissions.yml. I am a server owner not a developer or a java expert, which means if i have to open up craftbukkit.jar and figure it out myself well... users will be waiting weeks/months/years for updates. which means no happy users.

    The permission.yml configuration file for Bukkit's only a shell. For now. So there really isn't any use for it.

    Right now the permission system that's going to be built in with Bukkit is still a concept. You still need a 3rd-party plugin to handle permissions.

    As of now neither PEx nor bPerm have the '*' ability unless you add SuperPerms as well.

    Did you get my PM?
    I think the PM notifier might be broken :(

    Ok. I will take a look. Is it the list of all recommended plugins? If so, I've added some to the first post.

    No, that wasn't what the PM was about.

    Let me just tell you here...

    Ohhh I saw that. I might just open a ticket system support like the one you see VPS providers use.

    Have you seen osTicket?
    And, do you have a host for the new site?
    I'd be more than willing to host it, if you want.

    I got a better solution that includes remote desktop, among other things ;)

    Sounds good. Can't wait to see it.
    One last thing to think about:
    Your current "solution" probably includes live-chat, but in case it doesn't, take a look here.

    Also, isnt the title supposed to say "...solving all YOUR bukkit-related challenges"?
    Might want to take a look at that, just noticed it :p.

    Would they have to register a new account to do that?

    M1sT3rM4n

    No, they can just open new tickets.

    We're looking to have that system online later today? Tomorrow?

    Care to release any specifics on how it works/what all it will do?

    I will release more information as I complete the system and do test runs on it.

    Ok then.
    I am working on a system to integrate bukkit logins. Once you get your system up and running, would you be interested in the code?

    Oh, and BTW, I changed the address of the forum I made to www.bukkithelp.tk.

    After considering what it's worth and the bugs my vision had, I've decided to give the ticket system you suggest a try.

    Ok, with the forum?
    I will be implementing a tagging system soon, and will be implementing the bukkit login (once I fix this darn PHP error)

    Hey what is the permission for the give command?

    I kinda like the forum better. It allows users to comment on other users' threads, and allows people to help each other, instead of forcing all of the work on the firm "employees".

    Besides, I think that the forum UI is nicer :)

    For Essentials, it's 'essentials.give'

    See that's what I said in the first place ;)

    @vivanewvegas
    It depends on the plugin you use (if you do)
    If it is the one built into bukkit, it is OP only.

    So i need to install essentials first? Will that work with TooManyItems?
