Minestairs - Generates Stairs and a Shaft in a simple way:
Version: v1.0
If you place 4 Iron Ore in a Cross with 2 Gold Ore in the Middle
you get a Shaft and some Stairs. (Configurable)
Top / Side View G=GoldOre , I=IronOre, A=Air

New:
There are 3 Types of Stairs now. Each can be enabled or disabled in the Config-File

- The normal Railable Stairs

- The smooth Walkable Stairs

- And the Deluxe 5x5 Glasstower BigStairs


The Default Blocks to create are as follows:

Normal:
4 IronOre - 2 Gold Ore
Smooth:
4 IronOre - 1 Gold Ore - 1 GoldBlock (Top most)
Big:
4 IronOre - 2 GoldBlock

The 2 GoldOre Blocks have to be Placed at last. (Top most Block allways the last)

It is compiled against an old permissions...
Funky, that permissions doesnt get up ;-P

I will try compile it against a new Version of Permissions.

should of guessed it was a permissions plugin error... cant wait till the bukkit team finaly add a standard fully working permission system

 

how do u get rid of the stairs?

 

same error, titlte says 953 but file appears to be same size etc, did you upload an old copy?

 

Its the same version, it still works with the old permission stuff and 953..
I did not fix the permission thingy, just tested against 953, and therefore it works ;-P

 

ah ok, i doubt many are using the old permissions thing though

 

Doesn't work for me with 953 and permissions 3.1.6

 

It still uses Permissions 2.X

I will try to find the time this weekend to update my plugins to the new Permissions, witch come with craftbukkit.
I hope most will switch to the builtin permissions then.

how do u make the 5x5 glasstower

 

its ab abandoned plugin, last post was months ago

 

too bad, i like this one.

 

i never got a chance to use it, by the time i heard of it it was unable to be used as it only supported a really old permissions version, i was watching it as the creator said he was going to update it, it just never happened

 

im not using any permissions plugin since i am the only one on the server. so far.
i had not intended to open up to any other people, but as time goes on i am thinking of it.
i was also thinking of learning java and forking this program into something that will make towers enclosed in glass.

it would be the big stairway that this has in the big version, and adding another two rows of track-able stairs outside of the stairs that it builds now, and then enclosing the whole thing in glass so that if you build the tower on water it will be enclosed in a glass wall and not get flooded with water.
the tower would go from about 3 or 4 blocks below the maximum height in the sky to the top layer of bedrock.
and instead of the gold blocks it would use diamond blocks.

if its just you then here is my suggestion
get world edit
create a tower as you want it
type //wand you will get a woodern axe
go to the top of it and on one corner left click the axe ( a message will pop up to say first point selected)
go to the bottom and opposite corner right click it (a message will pop up to say the second point slected, you have now made an invisible cube around it

stand in front of it (the position is important as u wull see latter)
type //copy (it will confirm this)
type //save glasstower (again it confirms it)

now when ever you want another one type //load glasstower then //paste (it will paste it exactly how you copied it and in the same position reletive to you as when you copied it


that all proberly sounds complicated but its not and you will get used to it fast, hope that helps

 

I am very sorry.
I am to sick / have a "burnout".
I will not be able to update my plugins for the next few weeks / months.

So i decided to let them set Inactive.

Anyone is free to get in charge of one of this plugins.
