hamachis a pain in the arse and if you use it for minecraft servers, there is a good chance you've pirated the game...seriously, try with a lan or internet server, without hamachi first

I'm not a pirate. But the thing is my Portal is called 2Wire and I can't find a good tutorial on how to portforward it.
Oh and codename_b, SwearWord told me you linked him to my "Hello I'm retarded" post :p

Huh, i don't thin this works with build1060
going back to build 1000 works fine though :)

I don't think you should be asking here then..
    Also, I belive you http://www.minecraft.net/haspaid.jsp?user=HuntMASTER15

Why not? I was simply asking in the first place why people can't connect. Not how to portforward.

    Ok then, nvm
But still, did you try making a server, then connecting to localhost?

  7. Offline

    HuntMASTER15

What? I can connect to my own server. Other people can't until I remove this plugin.

Huh, how wierd. Do what i always do, COMPLETELY NEW SERVER. Seriously though, new server, new folder and only this one plugin.

    HuntMASTER15

Well I mean I know if it worked and I did that I would know it was a plugin's issue, but what else would doing that accomplish? I wouldn't know what plugin caused it.

Do it for every plugin you have. Individually. One. By. One.

i updated to 1060 and discovered that i couldnt place or break any blocks but when i used /reload i could do so once again
is this a factor of 1060?
do i just have to wait for the update?

After updating to 1060, I get an NPE and no permissions work. Reloading the server/nodes does not fix the problem.

Obviously, this plugin is better than PermissionsBukkit because it doesn't throw NPEs every time a player logs out. :D

edit: no one else seems to be getting this. :(( plugin incompatibility :((
Although I am on the latest version of Spout :\

This is great work. I use this on my server and love the quick adding of nodes ingame. Also a easy to read config. Can easily spot any typo before I save changes. One thing im not sure if it is already added. BUT I would love to allow others (mods) to be able to add ppl to a certian group (Members) but not be able to promote to mod or higher.

    bPermissions.setgroup.groupname
    or
    like
bPermissions.admin.setgroup.groupname # where giving this permission would allow that group to promote someone to groupname.

on my server there is only a few lvls. and would love to see this plugin in all its glory be a bit more scale-able.

    default
    member
    mod
    admin
    ie.
    Mod:
    - bPermissions.admin.setgroup.default
    - bPermissions.admin.setgroup.member
Here a Mod could promote someone to default from anygroup and to member from anygroup

    Thanks for a kickbutt plugin!

    Will get this added.
    It'll be more like bPermissions.mod.setgroup.groupname

How can i use prefixes with this?

I'm wondering the same thing D:

Use mchat to do all the prefixes stuff, with the bukkit permissions all the prefix/suffix stuff has to be handled by the chat plugin.

Per-World "default" groups will definitely be useful for my server.

More importantly, in my opinion, are promotion commands like those suggested by @Mrlovecraft , or like those suggested in my thread, here .

Lastly, would per-player permissions be a future possiblity? Or multi-group?
Or perhaps an additional plugin to handle per-player permissions (or multigroup)?

This looks much more coherent than what i suggested!!! I like this! You make me soooo happy!!!

Give me a valid use case for multigroup please.

Here goes, though this could also be done with unique per-players permissions plus command helper's command scripting:

I've got 4 nations, each with a unique permission ladder and different moderation positions within each town.
Multigroup would allow me to give anyone, in any group, specific donator permissions. Creating a separate donator class would be impractical because it would require me to make a donator class for of the 28 different groups, all of which have different permissions.

Per-player permissions would accomplish the same, as I could create a command in command helper to give players the appropriate permissions nodes, for each donator rank.

Either one is fine with me, though per-player permissions might be simpler on both our sides (can't say I know, though).

I can add multigroup - but it'd require a full update of your existing config file :S
Tell you what - I'll work on a way to convert the config file automagically ;)

Then I'll add multigroup - added to the list todo: for 1.2

Thankyou for a valid use case.

Thank you for listening and acknowledging it!
    Can't wait for 1.2 :D !

    EDIT: One last thing:
If you add commands for multigroup management, could you make then group specific?
Like 'bPermissions.addgroup.<groupname>' or something of that nature?
    Thanks again!

Maybe the colon, ":", is what's throwing off your config? Try removing it and make it just "-message.returnProbation"

    Just a guess though.

Erm node.* nodes only work if the plugin in question supports them.
Also - I can't help without seeing your other yml files. Group names are case sensitive.
