    This is an addon plugin for Stargate that gives the ability to create separate signs to dial a stargate.

    To create a DHD you simple create a sign (Either a wallsign or a signpost) with the following layout:
    Code:
    Line1: ::DHD::
    Line2: StargateName
    Line3: NetworkName (Optional, will default to your Stargate default network if not given)
    
    Where "StargateName" and "NetworkName" are the remote gates name and network.
    If the network is not given, it will default to the Stargate plugins default network.

    To use the DHD, you right-click on it to select the destination (The current destination will be shown on line 4, as well as on the Stargate itself). Once you have your destination chosen, left-click the sign to activate the portal.
    The DHD does the appropriate permissions, and iConomy (if enabled) checks to make sure the player activating the portal has the permissions to do so.
    An added feature of the DHD is that the activating user is not the only person who can walk through the gate, anybody can use the gate once it is active. This allows an admin to open a hidden gate for a user to access an area they normally wouldn't be able to.

    As this is the first release there are bound to be bugs. Post if you run into any.
    The current known bug is that the destination does not reset on a DHD, this is because the DHD is a dynamic object, it's not stored anywhere. I will be adding a timer in the next update to deactivate/clear the DHD after a timeout.

    Sorry if my question is stupide but when I try to add a gate to my network it's say *invalid stargate*

    First gate
    ::DHD::
    Gate-1
    Net-1

    it's say that the gate has been created

    Second gate i try so many thing and it's always the same thing
    ::DHD::
    Gate-1
    Net-1
    Second Try 2
    ::DHD::
    Gate-2
    Net-1

    *invalid stargate* again

    @Lanciens You are aware this is an addon to Stargate, correct? And the only way to have a DHD is to have a Stargate that it's linked with?

    @Lanciens You are putting these on seperate signs apart from the Stargate? Because nobody has had issues with this plugin, like ever

    yes they are separate signs but directly on the gate

    each gate have it own sign that i put directly on each gate

    you do know the DHD sign doesnt go on the gate itself you create 2 gates and use the DHD somewhere else
    did you look at the vid at the top

    yes you do but it is different you dont put the dhd on the gate you create the gates with the stargate plugin the make a dhd seaperate from the gate again there is a vid on the stargate forum about creating gates between the two vids it should get you up and going

    1) Watch any Stargate SG1 or Stargate Atlantis episode.
    2) See what DHD is and what it does.
    3) Got it?

    Do you have plans making this work with 1.8 creative mode? Maybe make it so the sign wont break when you right click if you left clicked before? kinda like what World Edit does (if that makes sense)

    Can you add support for toggling "Always ON" gates, if I could switch them on and off that's would be awesome.

    Well i found a great way to use the always on gates as shields for a bay of this giant ship that I built on my server, and if I could toggle them then the ships could come and go. [see below]. I actually works perfectly at keeping all people and even "movecraft" aircraft's out, but would like to also let them in sometimes. I know that it's not the original design, but still I'm sure that you could agree that there are some ways that toggling always on gates could be useful in general.

    I guess i should rephrase the question to what i really meant to ask.

    Would it be possable to add gates that toggle ON/OFF, and don't turn off after a period of time, or when a person goes thru. Allowing multiple people to go thru like an always on gate, but with the ability of turning it off.

    A toggle gate, that's a more sane request. I'll look into adding it when I'm not working 12 hour days.

    hey @Drakia, or others. I am currently a starting C++ coder, (beginner) and I have been looking for some help in means of coding the Permissions file and adding the new mods together. I run the newest bukkit build server, and I'd love a favor from y'all; could you get these mods in a package that actually works and send them to my email? Regions, PermissionsEx, Permissions, Moneydrop, iConomy, CashFlow, Multiverse-Core, Spout, Modifyworld, Multiverse-NetherPortals, Multiverse-Portals, mcMMO, MobArena, and worldguard? If you would kindly do that I'd be more than happy to get you an admin level on my server, I had over 540 visitors so far.... Constant players I mean.
