Here's what the new XP bar looks like, designed by BrandonXP (Same person who did the logo) based on how the XP bar by notch's team looks.​

You'll notice a few things​

1. The XP Bar is at the top of the screen (configurable)
2. The XP Bar has shading
3. The XP Bar is 'flipped' due to a bug with Spout

It's going to be in mcMMO soon, but you'll need to wait for another update from Spout to come out before it will work properly. I've been talking to the authors of Spout all day long and I'm making sure this works right when it comes up.

I'm going to have the bar 'fill' into the new XP when XP is gained, this will animate the XP. It's not going to jump to the right spot like it would in WoW. I think this will look much cooler.

I am exited about all that is comeing with mcmmo and spout the comeing months will be intresting to see how this changes ssp and smp play and keep up the grate work

 

This is kind of a serious bug, nossr50. If someone has a high mining level, they can just place iron or gold ore, break it, get a double drop, place both, get more double drops, and essentially just get infinite ore. Using MCmmo v1.0.50 and CB 1000, although this apparently happened on older versions too.

 

Its caused by ore obfuscation plugins not retaining the byte data of the blocks

At the moment spout is totally F-ed tho. I have high hopes for it since the spout client supports HD texture packs that bukkitcontrib used to break but spout spams tons of errors to the console at the moment.

Looks like mcmmo .50 is downloading and activating bukkitcontrib agian, and that causes spout to die.

 

mcmmo does not download or have any references left for bukkitcontrib
make sure you do not have bukkitcontrib running

 

updated from .49 to .50 and now this happend

 

Did you just do a /reloadall or /plugman reload mcMMO? Cause I saw that in the past also when reloading an update. A full server restart should fix it.

Darn then I'm stumped, I completely delete bukkitcontrib and its folder with the config but every time I start my server it clearly shows in the log that it's being downloaded and activated again. Must be another plugin thats shafting me. I guess we'll have to wait for other plugins to move over to spout, it might be logblock that uses it for chest access logging.

Nice one for making this plugin it has been the one of the best plugins for our server and nice work moving it onto spout just moved over to spout from bukkitcontrib.

It seems that the Spout feature doesn't work on my server. I have it installed on server + running it and it just shows up in chat box

 

nossr50, any idea why the cooldown on ptp isn't working, even at the default 600?

are you running the SpoutCraft client? if you're not, you're not going to get any of the fancy features it provides

Permissions is not setup yet, this is optional but its like that because you have a permissions plugin and have not configured it yet.

 

Sounds like a permissions error. Look into a permissions plugin.

So I had Permissions 3.1.6 installed. Could that have been big enough of a problem to crash the server? I downgraded to 3.1.5, so hopefully I won't get anymore crashes.

I would just like to say that I recently updated from 1.0.16 to 1.0.50. I use flatfile and Permissions 2.7.4 and everything was 100% flawless. @nossr50 your work is excellent and when you've got internet access you are at the top of your game.

Some people don't. My fiance's step dad hosts our server on his home machine because he has 24 gigs of ram. He has permissions 3.1.6 and only had a crash issue pop up when five of us were on and we were all building like crazy and exploring. Then he restarted it, we went back to exactly what we were doing and it was fine for the rest of the night. Haven't had it happen again either.
