    Taking Shades' Towny a step farther.

    A versatile, player-controlled land management plugin for use with Bukkit/Tekkit/Spigot/Libigot, offering solutions for pvp, griefing, chat, inflated economies and monsters.

    Features (open)

    Towny includes a wide variety of features to offer instant enhancements to your traditional Minecraft server.
    • Allows players to own and manage land based on a pre-set grid layout.
      • Players join towns and purchase plots of land.
      • Players decide who can build, destroy, use "switchs" and use items on every plot they control.
      • Towns can join together into nations, further structuring a server into teams.
      • Towns grant protection from monsters, pvp, fire, explosions and greifing.
    • Wilderness Rules (Optional)
      • Area between towns is wilderness, with its own build permissions.

    The Solution is: Questioner don't like the plugin DefaultCommands
    I'll deactivated it and everything was fine :)

    I have a strange problem now, i can't add a player in a town. It's work for all other players but not for him (and only this player).
    I checked permissions : it's ok
    if a add him directly on town's file, towny don't start...

    CB #1000
    permissions 3.1.5
    player's name : chaosjeff

    messages from towny :
    "chaosjeff is not permitted to join a town
    none of this names were valid"

    I gave player pemission towny.spawntp

    but when use command, it charged money and no teleport.

    what shoul I do?

    1. if someone lured creeper and explode it nearby other`s town, what happened?
    does it prevent destroying from creeper explode?

    2. doesnt conflict with LWC or Worldguard?

  15. Update your Dev version for use with Essentials.

    Correct, then /ta reload.

    Yes, each world can be adjusted seperately.

    I'm about to add customizable chat.

    Give the permisiosn node towny.town.resident

    Latest dev version and essentials.

    Fixed in dev a few days a go. Will be pushing to release soon. Nightmares at home are delaying it.

    If set it will prevent ALL explosions from damaging a town.

    This is working in the dev version.

    I just did exactly as you described.

    Created a town.
    moved and did /town set spawn
    tested it with /town spawn
    issued /reload (as op)
    tested /town spawn - worked perfectly.

    Hi, I'm experiencing a problem where after ive set up towny. Its disable my ability to fly and use compass teleportion. when i disable towny all was well again. I was wondering if theres a setting I'm missing that causes this? Thanks

    Hey, I'm probably just being stupid somewhere along the line, But I put the towny.jar into my plugins folder and restarted the server and nothing has happened... all of the commands just come back with unknown command and its as if its not even there... what am i doing wrong? :3

    Hey a few bugs here in the 0.73.1 build. For some reason my towns cannot toggle pvp on or off. They get an invalid town property error. Also, even though I have forced mob spawning on in towns, the town still refuses to let mobs spawn. Here's a link to the config: http://pastebin.com/R3z3nQs5

    EDIT: Silly me, the new command for toggling pvp is not /t set pvp on/off anymore. It's /t toggle pvp :p

    If I install the previous version of towny on CB1000 it runs without any error in the console but the towns are not protected at all...

    Any plans to add a way to make town owned plots? Id like my walkways and town halls to say for example the town name when a player enters the property. joining automation for players to join a town when the mayor isn't on would be ready nice. Like maybe a sign that you right click and then a confirmation message? My server only has 2 towns so I have new players that come in wanting to join a town but mayors aren't online so I have to shove myself around as mayors of different towns so I can accept players into it. another request is per town plot limits and ability to set a new resident price because all my mayors usually give first plots for free and charge after that. So that would be nice. This is such an amazing plugin and I hope to see its continued development :) great job guys

    When a new user logs in it says
    "Welcome %s to the server"
    I see where in the file to stop this from happening, but would like to fix it so it shows the persons name and not %s.
    Any help would be nice

    Question. I got two worlds.

    Two Groups. Defaults and Roleplayers.
    Defaults have to stay in one world (Freebuildworld) while Roleplayers are able to switch between two.

    Now I want to use towny as griefer-protection-zone in the Freebuildworld... I allow the Defaults to build in the wild and to open towns. But Roleplayers cant join towns, because they are in another one on the Roleplayworld. What to do now? I need to allow people to join more than one town. or one town per world.
