MultiHome - Multiple named home locations:
    Version: v0.11.3

This plugin is much the same as other multi-home plugins, except this plugin supports named home locations and home sharing. no longer do you need to keep a list of which home number is for what location; why not simply name the location from the start?

When the plugin generates it's data files for the first time, it will import and convert your home locations if you use Essentials or MultipleHomes.

To enable home-on-death, set enableHomeOnDeath, under MultiHome, in the config file to "true" and give the appropriate users the multihome.homeondeath permission.

All test displayed to the user can be fully customized. This also allows for translations to other languages!

Sweet, this is excellent news. Just a few more users to sort out bugs with (make sure they're not MultiHome bugs) and we might be ready to release version 1.0 on the next release.

Thanks for the great feedback. It's muchly appreciated :)

I do not spawn at my default home location when I die. I am an admin, I use permissions, what is going on with this? Since I am an admin I have access to all permissions, so it should work by default.

Make sure "enableHomeOnDeath" in MultiHome/config.yml is set to "true".

This has been fixed. It wasn't handling a missing economy plugin correctly. Install the latest version :)

Was this fixed? Download the latest version and try again. If it still doesn't work, then let me know. are you running Essentials?

Homes are server-wide. If you set a home in your main world, you can teleport to that home from the nether. You can't set a default home in the surface world and one in the nether, it doesn't work like that. Use the named home feature to set multiple homes.

Sorry about the question, but how can I use the MultiHome with Essentials? I can't deactivate the Essentials commands /home and /sethome to use the commands from MultiHome, only the deactivation from the command, and using the /m extension commands.

Maybe this question have been solved before, but I can't find the solution.

The IRC channel tells me the Essentials commands can be disabled in the Essentials config files. Whether or not this prevents Essentials from claiming these commands as its own is yet to be seen. I don't think it will work, but the only other alternative is to edit the plugin.yml file inside the Essentials.jar file.

Thanks for the tip MadManMarkAu. I've edited the Essentials.jar and commented the home/sethome lines inside the plugin.yml, and updated the plugin (from 0.9.5 to 0.9.7) plus adjusted the permissions on the file. Working perfectly.

    Very nice plugin. :D

@MadManMarkAu can i also use the old multiplehomes files for this pluginm since that one is broken on my server

    MadManMarkAu

    Yes, you can :)

Install this plugin, run your server, then remove MultipleHomes.

What do I do when it says, "An internal error has occured, please try again later". I've updated my plugin and bukkit and permissions! All my other plugins work fine so I'm not quiet sure what happened.

Check your server log, an internal error inside of the server means there will be an error stack outside of the server

I remember in one of the old versions a similar response was given when a warmup failed to initiate a scheduled task. However, this text is no longer used in the plugin. Have you got any other home-like plugins on your server? Did the console output any errors?

Is there any way to limit it so people only have one /home per world?

  14. Offline

    MadManMarkAu

    Per world? No. Globally? Yes.

This plugin doesn't cate what world you're on, home locations are completely multi-world.

Has anyone got a guide on how to migrate from essentials to this, I am running essentials. But i thought i had removed the homes... Obviously not. Anyone got a guide or idea?

You have a typo on your plugin. When you use /sethome it says "Deafult home set." instead of "Default home set."

One on my server members pointed it out not that its a big issue. Anyways love your home plugin been using it for a long time on my server.

xD Yep. Was going to mention it. Also ran into a few bugs with this plugin.

    MadManMarkAu

This can be fixed by editing the config.yml file. All the text is stored in there. This is to help with internationalization, so people can write the same phrases in their own language.

@rtcaboosevb could you please submit some bug reports? I want to get this plugin 100% perfect.

I've had some of my admins and users report to me that on occasion, they can't invite or delete their home. I've had some people indicate that having a home in a different world, and porting there brings them into a void, and I've had some users indicate that their home disappears from /home xD I know it isn't very helpful, but I'll try to look up the errors in the logs and submit them to you if I find them.

How does one go around and remove /home and /homeset from essentials.jar?

  21. Offline

    MadManMarkAu

Open the .jar file in WinRAR and extract the plugin.yml file. Edit the file to remove those entries. Put the edited plugin.yml file back into the .jar file.

Do you support native permissions yet? I'd love to see support for that :)

Not yet, but it's in the works. I'm currently researching it. I must say I am not happy with the lack of a built in grouping feature (was hoping to get away from having to support 3 different permissions plugins), but I can understand why they did it this way. Now there are going to be a whole spate of new grouping plugins I'm going to have to support :<

I say support the native permissions only. That is the point with haveing a native system. Others can use the bridge:

Upload your console output to pastebin.com and I'll help. I can't do anything without knowing exactly what error you're getting.

I think I know what he means as I'm having the same problem lately as well. If I use /home or /home name and the home is a long way away, I often find that the chunk I arrive in isn't loaded, all the others around it are fine, but the one I land on is empty. If I travel to the same location using tp commands or any other means besides /home there's never a problem.

There are no errors in the server logs when this happens.

    *edit*

I'm an idiot, totally didn't realise I was a version or two behind. Everything's working fine with 0.9.7 so far. Sorry about that!
