Inactive [MECH/RPG] AdvancementStandalone v1.0.5 - Skills, Stats, and Abilties [1000]

    Okay, so what exactly is happening? You install the plugin and the server does what?

    It seems to me like hes trying to say that his server starts up and crashes and no I cannot confirm this on CB953 Advancement 1.0.1 and MC 1.7.2.. but then again "overload" can mean plenty of things.

    Hmm, perhaps he can provide us with some insight. I can't confirm the problem either.

    I think i figured out the problem.. Permissions 3.1.6 is causing people Read Timed Outs.. So i went back to 3.1.5 - No problems :)

    Glad it's working out for you. :)
    That's interesting though, I've not had any trouble running 3.1.6.

    I'm having some problems with the Health feature. When I use "/heal", it heals my hearts but the Health doesn't get updated.

    What exactly does Fatigue do? Also when I type /stats I can only see hunger and health.

    d*mn why should that intefere.. hmm.. what plugin should i choose this sounds awesome but i need citizens..
    unless ther is some other good plugin out there for Npc trader (and i do not want to use NpcTrader) ill just search myself..

    Heh. now i got a new problem..
    whenever i try to eat something from cookie to golden apple it don't degrees my hunger.
    is ther a special way or what? nothing specific in console (citizens is off)

    I have a major exploit for melee/archery skill.
    Player A hits player B. Player B kills player A. Player B does /kill. Each time he does it player A gains shitloads of experience. Most of my server is almost capped in levels :S. I'll have to reset skills when you fix it.

    Haha I've never even thought of that It didn't even cross my mind. I don't know why your players would be useing that command anyways... I'm sure jtripled will get right on to fixing that.

    You should be good to go now with the latest download. Let me know if you have any other problems. :)
    Also, PvP should be giving 500 xp per melee kill now, I had made it account for distance for some reason. This is fixed now.

    Is there any way to make it so you have to be of a certain level of a particular skill, or set of skills, to enter a certain area? was planning to make level based dungeons with harder monsters for higher levels with treasure.

    hey I was wondering if there is ever any plans to make this work with citizens. I'm trying to make my server have every aspect of an RPG. I was able to get citizens working for the most part and I also this however as its been pointed out above the 2 mods don't seem to work togeather. This seems to be the best rpg mod available to date for minecraft so I would really like to see stuff run together. Or if the developer of this mod doesn't want to do it maybe someone else would be interested in making a mod that has rpg elements with NPC elements. I don't care if there different mods or the same ones It would just be nice to have all the elements of an rpg!

    @jtripled Man maybe you should just continue Advancement standalone. I think you could do a lot more to it. We all love it and your taking a break on your API and working on other projects but I don't really think you should discontinue the development of this plugin besides maybe RB updates.

    @RugRats I've been thinking about keeping this one going alongside the others, of course there are people that don't want to have the bigger mod, and I appreciate that. For the time, though, I've been dedicating all of my spare coding time to getting the other one off the ground, and once I succeed with that, I'll look at coming back to Standalone.

    Hi there,
    i´m having a problem which i have recently recognized.

    After i relog my XP in all talents above 1000 will be set to 999.
    But leveling works just fine , if i make enough XP before i relog.

    I´m using Advancement Standalone 1.03 and Bukkit #1000 and i think this happend already with #953
    and their is no error in the log.

    other plugins i´m using:

    -anticreeper
    -cookiemonster
    -globalshop
    -rtriggers
    -monstertriggers
    -mywarp
    -dynmap
    -iconomy

    XP works fine now.

    But i have to add 3 issues:

    1. Any skill like Fortress maintain active as long as i won´t relog ( new with 1.04 )

    2.Sleep does not work anymore ( 60sec countdown etc ) ( new with 1.04 )

    3. If i repair something and i´ve got 2 or more stacks from the resources it need eg. cobblestone
    then it withdraws it from all stacks. ( forgot to post it in my first post )
