    Description:

    ItemCraft is a Bukkit mod that allows adding new item and block types, crafting and furnace recipes, and custom tree generators and more. Using a Modloader and SettingsGUI interface it allows subplugins known as ICPlugins to be loaded to support client mods. ICPlugins can be created by translating a client mod using the ICTranslator ICplugin. Using a ModloaderMP interface (ported by krnlyng/liar) it allows porting multiplayer mods to bukkit.

    Installation & Usage:
    • Back up your world(s). Just in case.
    • ItemCraft.jar goes in same folder as craftbukkit
    • IC plugins go into ItemCraft/ICPlugins folder under craftbukkit. (folder is autocreated the first time)
    • uncomment (remove #) in front of all plugins you want to use in plugins.ics (autocreated in ItemCraft/ICScript)
    • Make sure you have the recommended version of craftbukkit in the title - since this is a mod of that version in particular.
    • Delete/rename the META-INF folder inside craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar (Use some decent zip program (e.g. 7zip) that can do it.)
    • All players on the server needs to have the client mods installed
    • If you use the 16 bit entity id packet mod (in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it)), All players need (flan's unofficial) ModLoaderMP client mod
    • All players also need the 16 bit entity id packet mod (overwrites a ModLoaderMP's class so make sure ModLoaderMP is installed first) in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it) If decide not to use the packet mod, you can turn it off putting this in your startup file: false setEntityIDPacketMod
    • Sometimes you get block/item ID conflicts, between plugins. You then need to set the conflicting ids in the startup script using setID command: example. They have to be set before the plugin that uses them is loaded. Note also that there is typically a props file on the clientside you have to edit the ids on to be the same as well.

      Suggestions of mods to port
      Vote here not in this thread anymore (it gets lost in all the other stuff)

      Reporting errors:
      • Read known issues - don't report those.
      • State the version of CB, ItemCraft and ICPlugin(s) you have problems with
      • If your client crashes, start the client from command line so that you get the error report.
      • Make sure the mod(s) works in SSP First before you report any errors here.
      • You are more likely to get a response if you describe the problem in more detail and do some testing yourself first of under what circumstances it occurs
      • Do not ask for uploads of minecraft.jar.
      • Do not pm me.
      • If you have problems installing, you are likely doing something wrong. Make sure you've followed the instructions exactly, read the FAQ and Wiki. If that doesn't work you can always ask in the thread, while I will likely not reply, there are others who can help you with your problem. But at least try to get it working yourself first.

    And it is updated! It is now v7 with lots of new Awesome things, empty shelves you can put stuff on, the coding has also become easier (he says, at least) so maybe it's also easier to do the last steps from the porting?

    Stained Glass got an update too that fixes the dupe bug with picking up different colors of glass, so that's going to need a bit of love alongside FancyPack. It looks like this is going to be the last updates for a while as he's looking to implement a few more complex things, so this would probably be a good build to safely port over. Finally, iron fences again! Muahaha!

    -EDIT- Did some quick testing - everything from these two updates seem to work perfectly and no conflicts seem to crop up when used with Trees, Slopes, Creatures, Glass, Fancypack and Reefs in SSP. Here's an IDList readout if it helps.

    I resovled the problem by deleting the ItemCraft directory, and letting it regenerate from scratch. There must have been something in there it didn't like, most likely a plugin that doesn't work with the current release (possibly FancyPack.)

    O, yeah, stained glass. Forgot about that, I'm not using that so... well, I forgot XD
    Though, if betterblocks is ported, then the fences are quite useless..
    But he has a whole lot of fences, nearly every material, that is really nice.

    Please check the ICbeer.
    Scraper doesnt work.
    It works in single player with same mod file.
    Maybe ICbeer.jar has problem.

    I cant wait for porting fancypack v7 !

    See you missed all the other posts regarding the plugin, it already known to be somewhat buggy. And unless I misunderstand this, the scraper works just fine on my test server. Turns grass into dirt, while sometimes dropping the seeds.

    Why does it try to use the item 1923? the shears is 1667?

    As for Shears youre the first one reporting this Problem. Have Shears running on my own Server and everything is fine.

    Strange dont know what could cause it. Has anyone else the same Problem with Shears?

    Ported Risugamis ShelfMod. Store your Items in a Shelf for all to see.
    Only small Problem is that only Stone and Woodshelfs work atm.
    Brick and Obsiadian are not placeable.And to get a Woodshelf you have to place a Stoneshelf and vice versa. :)

    I know the cause of it. Theres a no suitable Method Error with this:

    Whats strange is that Shelf usues a GUI too. Commented out the openGUI Method and it works.
    Dont know why its not working for other Mods.

    Thanks it was the # in front of the mo'creatures.
    I have another question. Does the old start up syntax still work? I was putting it in my ICScript in plugins.ic before "IMCCreatures.jar"plugin because it said if you want to change setting put it before the plugin is loaded. I then tried this in my init.ic before plugin was loaded but it tells me setint is not a valid command. I was hoping there is an easy way to change the settings.

    Normally I'd recommend changing the BlockIDs of the coral to make it work with existing plugins, but there seems to be an issue making that work server-side as the block names are nondescript. You could probably try changing the BlockID of the slopes conflicting with Coral mod in the properties file clientside, and inserting those new IDs into the plugins.ic file the same way More Trees ID are. Details on how to do that are in the OP under More Trees, 'Details regarding use'. The only real issue with this method is that any previously-placed slopes won't get transferred properly if you do something wrong, so make sure to back your world up before you make any adjustments. Easiest way to test this would be to load your MP world in SP, change the IDs in your KSlopes properties file and see what happens.

    Honestly though, I'd just hang loose until the orange coral bug is fixed before you start using it in your main server worlds. If there are any changes, this could have disastrous (or hilarious) consequences.

    The Sklopes stones are only half and if they are full again i can see black lines they show the half block. befor it the black lines showed only the full block. you can see on the screen what i mean with the lines.

    Busting one of the slopes and replacing it will realign them - I've only noticed this bug when transitioning from 1.5_01 (Bukkit766) to 1.6.6 (Bukkit818/860) and a simple smack on the wall fixed an entire cavern wall of this issue. I'd imagine if this is a spot you hadn't visited in a while (since you upgraded perhaps?) you may have overlooked it? If not, have you fiddled with the BlockIDs for KSlopes at all?

    @Asymetrikon - any ideas on the orange coral issue for ICNReefs? It seems the orange coral that's being dropped is BlockID 176 - I say that because in SSP there are 3 kinds of each color of coral, and 177/178 both have working craft recipes (dyes). 176 does not, and this is mirrored in Bukkit. Maybe this helps?

    I loaded it up with all the 'official' plugins with some minor tweaks to KSlopes IDs and everything generated fine - I found a rather beautiful swath of ocean to test it on. This was totally worth the wait, even in its current state. Oddly enough, all my gravel slopes - which are one of the KSlopes blocks that got shifted for Coral Reefs - were replaced with random coral arrangements. When I walk through them they act as if I'm underwater, splashing noises and all. They break just fine, and only orange coral drops though all colors and patterns were present, all with BlockID 176.

    This is what I did to make Asymetrikon's ICNReef work with ICKSlopes:
    Since changing the Coral Reef BlockIDs doesn't work, I changed the slopes IDs from 176-180 (what Coral Reefs uses) to 212-216. Ceiling stairs, up , down & corner slopes made of brick, gravel, gold, iron & obsidian will need replaced in your world, as they'll have coral in their stead upon reloading. Here are the client .properties and server plugins.ic file listings I use. Note I load all the 'official' (read: asgaard-ported) ICPlugins and Coral Reefs, so if you use these, make sure to edit them properly. Also note that in the plugins.ic, 'BlockKaev...' entries must have a capital B to take effect - your server will start up properly if you forget, but clients hang and get endofstream errors upon connecting. All of this runs on my server properly, reefs generate the way they're supposed to, though the orange coral bug still exists. Hopefully that gets ironed out soon. Hope this helps!

    Hmm maybe ive made a mistake because you cant change Reef IDs. Ill look into it.
    I fear that Shelf isnt possible in MP. Didnt find anything wrong with it, as it had not many Errors so start with.
    But i ported another 2 small but nice Mods from Nandonalt: Stilts and WallClock. Both work without any Errors.
    Stilts is awesome as it allows you to walk over Blocks that are 1 layer higher. No annoying jumping anymore. :p

    As the others have said, ICBeer is just plain broken atm. Not worth using until ItemCraft gets updated. Though if you are using a CraftBukkit version later that 860 that might be the prob?? Still haven't updated myself until a few more specific plugins get updated, might have to attempt to update them myself :p. As the only known prob that'll be focusing on is the fact that there is no GUI upon interacting with either the wine box or beer tap.

    I think this is the line that causes the Corals not to drop:

    [id/*shiftedIndex*] gives a private Access Error and im unbale to solve the Problem as the kedamet.csv gives no indication on what to put there other than id.
    getIconFromDamage defines what damagevalue is dropped from the Corals i think. So unless im able to solve this Line the Corals wont drop and only the Standard Texture (in this case orange coral) is dropped.
    So if someone has a Idea...

    Edit: Didnt meant you xeronut. But im getting a Ton of pms latly to port all Kinds of Mods. :p But my Time is limited. So i cant port all Mods.

    Have you checked for ID Conflicts? I csnt Test all possbile Combinations, so when its a ID Conflict you have to figure it out for yourself.

    Edit: Tested it with Reef,Stilt,Chisel and Ice running. Didnt crash the Server. And its running perfect for me.
    Clock has ID 123 btw.
