Can one of the admins please write up a tutorial on how to code Bukkit plugins using other languages besides Java? I'd really like to try building a plugin. :)

This is amusing. I glad my statement is open to interpretation.

The javadocs are broken, though! I really want to create a plugin using this.

I don't think its useful to release JavaDocs or the .jar file at such a early state - many things will be changed and in order to that, it's easier to release just those information, which are really final.. otherwise I rewrite my plugins every second day due to changes in methods and events.

I'm sure all the plugin devs know that this is the case, it's not a bad idea to start learning how bukkit works now though, and update it as needed.

Indeed, I've written all of my serverplugins on my own but - it doesn't help anyone to release this.. ok except bukkit to show that it is a w.i.p and that the mod devs are doing their jobs.
When I take a look at the jar I just think: Great idea of handling this but in the end I need a working RC or at least some final methods to start working.. and with this you dont help anyone, as i already said.

Agreed, I'm learning java for the first time to do this so I'm gonna get started now so I have a plugin for the first stable release.
