v3.5_02 - Fixes help page 3 not showing, wall signs now work as well as stand alone signs and I fixed the Array out of bounds exception

As always thanks for your continued support and reporting bug fixes which helps this plugin get better and better

I am making a gui for Regios which will be released with v3.6 so I'll definitely add this feature in as it sounds like a really neat idea

Certainly, this plugin is going from more customisation to protection also now, as for importing world-guard regions I'm not sure how they're saved so it would probably be difficult to make a patch to import them (Not impossible though). How many regions have you got?

what permissions would one need to purchase a region?

 

No permissions nodes, as long as the player has enough money he can buy one, I'll be adding nodes in v3.6 though because some people want more control.

 

Realy great job!
Would it be possible to add a special protection?
I've PVP-Arena on my server and want to add a class using TNT and fire.
If protection is on, this class isn't able to use this. Otherwise the Arena is gone after a match
I would like to give special permission, that they can use TNT without destroying my map.

If someone is owner, are they automatically added to protection exceptions? Is there ambiguity on who can use the /regios protect like say "regios protect test1" -you are not the owner of this region- would that be already written into regios or is that planned for future. :S

I get this for a few commands people try with Regios, it's the same error, just the <price> changes to the command.

 

The price (3rd) line must be an integer value (see example in post). Also your not running the same build as it was compiled against so you may get a few unusual errors.

 

One of our players purchased a lot in our city but he can't build on it.
He gets the "You do not have permission to build in this area" or something on that idea.

when i set region and in this region i place mc wich makes something like spawn a mob it doesn't work.

pvp works fine in a region with setpvp = true in a world where pvp = false,... but only with arrows ... not swords....

I would like to make a big region, and then have "lots" of land people can buy (like you can with the signs already) but for the big region I want that protected, only me being able to edit blocks. then when people buy land with the sign they can edit only in their land. Is this possible? I don't think you can do it yet, as I really looked hard into this.

 

Yes, just create a large region, protect it, then create small sub regions which can be bought, the owners and exceptions of these sub-regions will then be able to build inside them.

 

Would this be good to replace izone? It's no longer receiving updates :/ I need the plugin for protecting different areas from being edited by players.

I tried this, and it will not allow the person who bought it to edit blocks on the land. I can make a video of it if you would like. It says he bought the land, "Region Purchased"

The person who bought it has no permissions what so ever.

Hopefully that helps. I really want to use this plugin.

 

It's not a problem directly linked with Regios because everything starts up fine but there may be another plugin which is trying to use more memory than you have available. Maybe remove some plugins or upgrade your server.

 

Does Regios take up that much memory? It's the only plugin that gives me that problem.

 

Doesn't take up that much memory but it uses quite a few arrays and hashmaps and you may be pushing your server to its memory limit already.
