This plugin doesn't function correctly under a Linux environment. It writes files, but the read function for the log files only works in Windows.

    EDIT:
Tested the new version; still doesn't work properly for me using Ubuntu, it's writing the history, but not reading it.

    EDIT2:
    The error I get
    Code:
    12:25:33 [SEVERE] Error creating yaml file. See getConfig(File filepath);
12:25:33 [SEVERE] java.io.IOException: No such file or directory

How strange... I will test in unix further - at least the block protection is working... hmmm

Hi - thanks - I (hopefully) have fixed it - please redownload and test again.

Still receiving the same error, only now the plugin is no longer recording the history at all. The log file for my map has not changed regardless of how many blocks I place.

    EDIT:
If it helps at all, I encountered a similar error with the Stargate mod, the location it was saving it's database to was stored in the config file for it, and was fixed by reversing the direction of the "\"s used for the directory. Would it be possible to change your plugin to save to a directory specified in the config file?

Hi, I use "/" for my plugin.

Also - please bear in mind that there will be multiple log files as it is per chunk that the data is stored - perhaps it is creating log files under different names?

I have tested this 100% working under Arch Linux 64 bit.
Can you please delete the plugins/BananaProtect directory - reload the plugin - then get back to me?

I did as you said and it still claims there is no history for the blocks I had just placed after reloading. I still get the same error

Alright - when you place blocks are the files being created?

Hi, I've just uploaded another version - can you try that for me?

Hi - when you place a block there should definately be some history being created. Are you sure you're looking in the right folder? :S

is there any way this can be used to protect what already may exist rather than what we will build in the future...i might just be tired considering its 4 in the morning but world guard is so complicated hahah.

There is no safe way to protect what may already exist. I can add selecting cuboids and protecting them for a certain player, but it would have to be admin only.

Is it possible to exclude any type of block from automatic protection? Beacause it's anoying that nobody can chope down the whole tree if another user planted it.
