It's been a long time then I created a server with pluggins. Now I want to create a 1.11 (or later) Sky Wars and Hunger Games server for me and some friends.
    What do you recommend?
    Thank you.

Spigot or Paper is the best for a few reasons: It is used by more servers since is helps the server run better and faster, meaning better TPS and FPS and uses RAM better. But like tim said there isn't much difference. But certain plugins require certain server types. For example, PerWorldPlugins requires Bukkit and can't use Spigot or Paper, while ProtocolLib requires Spigot or Paper. So it all depends on what you're using. Most plugins use Spigot, and in my opinion Spigot is better. The only reason I'm using Bukkit is because I am using PerWorldPlugins which I have to use for my server.

@Xp10d3 ProtocolLib is not depending on versions though... Works on Bukkit just fine.

I tried it on Bukkit. Doesn't work. Says it requires Paper or Spigot.

Worked fine last time I tried, have to admit that it was a while back.

Huh. Yeah probably. I tried the latest version for 1.15.2.

@timtower @Xp10d3 Doesn't everything that work on Bukkit work on Spigot & Paper as well? Since it's a fork of Bukkit.

    It should.

@KarimAKL @timtower No. Bukkit uses a different command map if I'm not mistaken. And Spigot doesn't have the Bukkit Core I don't think.
