For CB 1.2.3 RO 1/2 and onward, go here.
*XenForo's formatting ghost hit the original page, and I'm too lazy to go through and fix it*

@melvinp It is Bukkit's standard ebean persistence layer, if it doesn't work for you that isn't my fault. Do you have SQL installed/use it for any other plugins?

Actually fixed name matching ability. In 1.1 I just fixed the database, not the txt file storage. It should all work now for you lazy people that don't like typing out whole names :p

@GmK That right there was a very beneficial post that helped mankind so much that you will now be awarded with the highest honor available, the *NobodyCares* medal! Seriously, I made this plugin because I felt like it, not because there wasn't a plugin where you can warn somebody.
Edit: And there will always be a place for simple plugins, that are much more user friendly than plugins like HeroicRebuke.

    *sigh*

It was an honest enquiry asking why you made this plugin. That's all. No reason to be a dick about it.

@GmK didnt look sincere to me

No offence taken, and none was inteded.

To get this back on track: We tried it out, it works rather splendid, and my OPs liked it. Their only wish was a kind of more imminent feel of 'danger' to the person you warn, as in frequent reminders that they have been warned, or something like this.

    @GmK
I don't know about adding a timer to remind people, but I can definitely add a/remind that shows everybody's warnings as well as a message set in the config.

@captainawesome7 could you add autoTEMPban and a config how long it would ban in minutes for example?

    @captainawesome7 ?

@andre_9796 Possibly, I'll look into it.

@andre_9796 Interestingly enough I just found TempBan in the plugin submissions, and I will probably just make that a dependency if you want to use automatic temporary banning (no sense in doing it myself if its already done, right?). I will give you more info once I am closer to finishing 1.3

Explain what is different then this and my iWarning which i released ~ a month ago?

Its funny cuz i look at the Bukkit+ LAWL posts and see you raging at people that copied your plugin(s) and yet you go and do the same thing?

@cronikkk IDK, never heard of iWarning b4

It was at the top of the plugin list for like 3 weeks straight...

@cronikkk woah buddy take ur bragging pants off. I haven't heard of it. I made a warning plugin. Who cares?

    cronikkk

I wasn't bragging. I was stating it was at the top of the plugin list for 3 weeks. Thus saying it was clearly visible.

@cronikkk And saying it like "Woah, how could you not have heard of my awesome plugin??" I don't look at plugin releases, ever. Again, I really don't care that you made a warning plugin, good for you. If you suspect that I stole your code, take a lookie, I am the most unorganized, messy, and inefficient coder ever, so it will most likely bear no resemblance to your code.

Few things that clearly you don't understand.
    1) I never said "Woah, how could you not have heard of my awesome plugin??"
    2) I never said you stole any of my code
    3) What I DID say, is that "Whats the difference between yours and iWarning?"

@cronikkk The question "Whats the difference between yours and iWarning?" obviously doesn't mean that you want to know the difference. You can clearly see that in the OP. What you really want to do is post here, basically saying "Why did you make this plugin if mine has more features?"
That right there is you saying I stole your code. I didn't copy anything, look at it. I got pissed because he literally copied and pasted every bit of my code, and only changed the strings that identify the plugin in-game (ie: the [pluginx] enabled). I didn't steal any of your code, didn't know about your plugin, and really just don't care. Please, stop pretending like you don't think your own plugin is way better than mine, and leave.

Never did i state you stole my code. I also never said it was better... If i wanted to post it, believe me i would have posted that. Re-read every post i never said "YOU STOLE MY CODE".

@cronikkk You said I did the same thing as that one person did to me. He copied and pasted my code. By the transitive property of copy+paste, you said that I copied your code.

@RTRD I originally had support for this, but I forgot to add the code that fixed this when I changed it because of name matching. Watch out for the next version, maybe later today (I'm busy working an a different plugin, so maybe really late).

    Hello,
I like the auto-banning feature of this plugin!
Any chance of adding a temp ban feature? Or possibly following up with linking your plugin to the TempBan plugin?

    Thanks for an awesome plugin!

    Nice mod.
Few little suggestions/ideas i would love to see:
Auto kick a player after so many warnings (seen it as a possible planned change, deffinately would love this)
Global messages like "PlayerX was kicked by the server."
and "PlayerX was banned by the server."

    Hi,
could you create a Plugin where you can type : /timeban [playername] [time in minutes] [reason].
With this plugin you can ban players as long as you want.

Hope you like this idea =)

PS: I am german... Sorry for bad english =) hope you understand it
