Filled BlockPoints :D

Minecraft version: Minecraft 1.8.8

Suggested name: BlockPoints

What I want: Whenever you mine a quartz ore (ID:153) you gain points(no xp or quartz)! I want to place them at hidden places and whenever you mine them, you get points (I'll use them for other things too!) I need some commands and perms, which will be shown below.

The only thing I want to ask you, could you make a placeholder for my scoreboard which shows how many points you have!

I do not need a prefix for messages

Ideas for commands:
/bp points
/bp pay <name> <amount>
/bp give <name> <amount> (admin command)
/bp reload

Ideas for permissions:
blockpoints.admin (all cmds)
blockpoints.give
blockpoints.pay
blockpoints.points

It doesn't matter if you use a papi or mvdw placeholder (I have both)

Hey, just a quick question for clarification, do you want the plugin to also place the blocks randomly in the world, or is this already set up in some way on your server?

 

Hi, yes this is already set up. I just hope it works anytime you break that block.

And the points can be stored in a config file? Or do you want them to be Vault economy?

 

If I choose vault economy, won't it apply by our balances? (When I think about vault, I think about our balances) Or are these totally different, I do not need to edit them in a config...

I actually don't mind, choose what's easier... I just want a second currency

Breaking the block works how it is suppose to work!
The /bp points command and /bp reload command work!

The pay and give commands do work, but when I accidentally change the number to a letter or character, there is an error in the console. I can also /pay more then I have, my points went to -5000 when I paid someone 6000 points when I only had 1000 points.

Is there a placeholder? If so, what is it? lol

Would you mind add a new feature?

I always feel bad when I ask or fix something...

Anyway, thanks, it works really smooth. Mined a lot of quartz with efficiency 100 and got all the points!

Hey, I've got a new issue xD

I am able to do /bp pay MYSELF -1000 when I am at 0 points, then type /bp points and I have 1000 points!
Also happens when I do /bp give <player> -1000

I'm not sure what you mean, did you add a scoreboard? I already have one! I just need a placeholder. It looks like %placeholder_name% or {placeholder_name} but I need to know the name!

Oh I thought you wanted me to add the scoreboard... I can't make the placeholder if I don't know what plugin you are using for the scoreboards...

I'm using AnimatedScoreboard. And PlaceholderAPI and MVdWPlaceholderAPI for my placeholders.

Just tested the plugin: the -10 points thing is fixed!
However, when I have 10 points and type /bp pay <myself> 1 = my points will decrease to 9

 

Okay I think I finally fixed everything!
I have never worked with PlaceholderAPI or MVdWPlaceholderAPI before so it took a while.
