Server Not Showing Up

Ok, so, my server is up and running except for one thing, it doesn't show as open in the server listing. I know it's open though because in the direct conect area I put "localhost" I get on. But it doesn't show as open on the server list. Help would be great!

Instead of putting localhost, try putting the IP address ur friends need to get onto ur server.

Follow these steps if u don't know how:

1) go to https://www.ipchicken.com/
2) copy the external IP address
3)go into ur minecraft and inside the IP box, type it like this: <external IP>:<server port>

If that doesn't work, please send me a screenshot of ur server on ur server list.

Maybe port forwarding is the issue. Have you done so?
