    /spawnmob monster is the same as /spawnmob human, so yes that is supposed to happen :p

    Hello and thank you for this plugin!

    What is the global permission that allows only one group or person to use this plugin in Permission?

    I can spawn animals but Creeper, Giant and Zombie are visible only a split second = (

    I use Permission Essentials, WorlEdit, WorldGuard, MagicCarpet, SpawnControl,iChat, Runecracf.

    You probably have your server running in peaceful mode. If you ahve monsters turned off, they won't appear, even via plugins like this.

    Working on 798; thank you for being on top of things.

    I thought it wasn't working properly at first, but apparently I didn't add the spawn-limit=300 config option to my file. This results in a nice big ugly exception every time you try to run a command. Just as a heads up for anyone else who might have lagged behind on the updates, you need that. (Just got the server back up after a bit of a hiatus.)

  7. Request: display number of mobs killed on the kill commands.

    Request:

    Could you please add a Permission node for:

    ""Fixes" mobspawners by letting them drop mobspawners when destroyed, to turn this off put mobspawners-have-drops to false in /plugins/SpawnMob/SpawnMob.properties"

    As it overrides WorldGuard, so if I enable that, anyone can destroy any mob spawner, even those "owned" by players :/

    Alternatively: make this work smoothly with WG :p

    I don't know how sk89q calls the mob spawning of electric creepers and tamed wolves without sacrificing the regular of both types in his CommandBook plugin... Hopefully you can have this done, I do like the tamed wolves type of thing, but sometimes I want to spawn wild wolves for other users.

    Hey, I was just wondering about the config.

    spawn-limit=300

    Does this mean that the max mobs allowed spawned at one time is 300 or the max number of mobs you can spawn at once is 300?

    So. Hi! Great plugin, really, its a ton of fun. Ive skimmed over the forums and dont think its been mentioned, butttt. The /spawnmob command works fine for me. However the use of /mspawn results in the internal error message. also, i can not spawn ghasts or slimes. all other mobs spawn perfectly though. i get the message saying ghast spawned, and slime too, but nothing physically happens. My server uses Essentials among other plugins, but i have a bit of an inkling its essentials built-in spawnmob command that is doing this.
    ideas?

    I've had similar problems with this, when I do /spawnmob Ghast or Creeper I see nothing.


    That means you can spawn 300 max per command, so you could only do /spawnmob Mob 300 no higher but you could just repeat the command and spawn more :p

  16. Would it be possible to have mobs spawn relative to the spawners position? (East, West, Up, Down..., 2 blocks, 3 blocks...)
    e.g. I want to make a mob zoo, and thus I tried spawning a Creeper in a 3x3 jail.
    Said Creeper(s) spawned inside occasionally, but often out of the jail where they raped people.

    Another feature I'd like to see is the ability to set a spawn-limit on spawners, so the spawner can not create more monsters than he's limited too.

    I like the add-on but it's a bit unpredictable and I'd like some more control over it.

    This is a odd bug. In 1.6.6 For some reason Monster Spawners will not Spawn Monster, you know the Human who hits you. I like having those spawners in my server but for some reason they just stopped spawning when we updated to 1.6.6 Worked fine in 1.5, Not sure why 1.6.6 broke it. All other spawners seem to work, only the Mob known as Monster does not.
    Note: /SpanwnMob Monster works but mspawn /Monster does not.

    V1.9.4

    • Support for MC 1.6+​
    • /spawnmob wolf <number> now works​
    • If you enter '/spawnmob wolf' with no number a error occurs (same with creepers)

    When I try to spawn a mob it says that there was an internal error.

    I also get an error when trying to spawn a mod with the correct permissions (using 3.x).

    Everything works fine, but for some reason I can't spawn ghasts, slimes, or giants. It says that they are spawning, but they don't appear anywhere, not even in the Nether. Why?

    I just switched over to Commandbook for some commands I had in outdated plugins, so I dropped your plugin. However, I hope you keep up the good work, and while you do, maybe you can look at how Commandbook does things. Maybe you can implement them (I'm just learning the syntax). It even allows spawning of colored sheep.

    Of course, one thing I miss is the mob riding another mob feature. So I wish you well in ironing out those bugs! (And I may come back...)

    is there a chance to get a new feature for configure mobspawner?

    id would be great to get a feature for "number of simultaneously spawns"

    because i want to get as many mobs as possible in a very short time. i dont want to build 2-3 or 4 mobspawner in one room.

    Any news on error fixing? I like this plugin because it spawns mob on where you point, not directly on your head. Maybe a reminder: i got same error before and it was fixed by adding spawn-limit=300 to config, but now i already have this in config and still get error.

    P. S.: it seems to happen only on hostile mobs. I can spawn pig without problems, but creeper shows error.
