I have my bukkit server, and everything works, but when I try to start my server for the first time, it just comes up for a second, and then closes. When I add PAUSE to my starter, it just says pres any key to continue[IMG]... Then when I click a key, it closes. WHAT DO I DO!!!?? Please help!:'(

Also make sure that in the eula.txt in your root directory that eula=true and not eula=false.

@Minerbrine12 And your commandline log? And did you modify the eula.txt ?

I find it hard to impossible to believe that that is a craftbukkit jar, at 8megs. Thats less than half the size of the 1.7.9 true craftbukkit jar, and I dont know what size the spigot-versioned one rolls in at, but it has to be at least the same area.

Your file is corrupt, or else you downloaded a bukkit jar and renamed it craftbukkit.jar

When I downloaded bukkit it was on the bukkit official website, but it said bukkit GUI project. Could that be the problem???

Well, not actually. So I started my server again (after downloading the craftbukkit official not the GUI) and it still says Press any key to continue. What do I do? Sorry for not actually fixing the problem.:(:(:'(:'(

About the picture: I did rename the file to craftbukkit.jar

    1) "downloaded craftbukkit official" -- not possible, DMCA prevents you doing that

    2) file is only 4 megs, half the size of the filesize that i said was way too small earlier. You downloaded something else and called it craftbukkit. You can continue downloading anything you want, calling it craftbukkit, and you'll get the same non-happening thing each time.

If you dont already have your own craftbukkit jar, the DMCA prevents making the file available publically to download, so you're out of luck.

Take a look at this, It has information on how to build a 1.8-1.8.6 version of "Craftbukkit" or Spigot.

    http://www.spigotmc.org/threads/bukkit-craftbukkit-spigot-1-8.36598/

Just use java -jar BuildTools.jar when Git bashing the BuildTools and it'll give you the latest version, java -jar BuildTools.jar --rev 1.8 will give you Spigot/"Craftbukkit" 1.8. Change to --rev 1.8.3 to get 1.8.3, etc.

@oceantheskatr I'm happy that you put the quotes around 'CraftBukkit' :D

  16. Since you got a CraftBukkit I will move this to Bukkit Alternates.
