The DojoBot

For all of you that have played on pvpdojo.com, you know what I'm talking about. an NPC player that soups/refills (soupPvP- or just give it more hearts) and fights you as for practice pvp'ing.
here is a video I created a little while back to show you what the dojobot is...

What I want: This is a player NPC that fights against the actual player who has to try to defeat it. Shown in the video, it can strafe, soup (or add more hearts to the bot) and combo. It should be able to extend to a really powerful (level 9) bot, or no aiming spaz (level 1)

Ideas for commands:
/bot create
creates a bot
/bot level (1-9)
how strong the bot will be
/bot stats
how you are doing against each level, k/d ratio

Ideas for permissions:
player.create
can player create a bot?

When I'd like it by: ASAP but take your time

Interesting idea.. So, you spawn an Iron Golem that fights for you? Is that the only feature you want?

What I want: I'd like to see perhaps properly formatted posts, or at least an attempt beyond the average all caps scrawl that has come to dominate this forum. What people need to learn is that it's much easier to read a nicely formatted post, even if it's a bit longer than it needs to be, you can easily identify key points via proper formatting.
Also, skim-reading is much easier with paragraphs!

Ideas for commands: No commands needed for this plugin.

Ideas for permissions: player.canread. Set it to false if they can't read this post.

The Golem was an example.
He is showing the fact that there is a "PvP Bot" that fights like a real person playing minecraft.

 

what MoeJoe said is correct. this video was a troll. the 'player' named "schmockyyy" is the dojobot

 

And this is why you should fill out the form.. It prevents people (like me) getting confused.

You're asking for PvPDojo's exact dojo bot plugin?
It's a bit difficult to code by the way. I dont think anyone will fill this
(hey an mcpvper!)

 

lol. Not an exact copy, a lot more basic, like more hearts rather soups.. IDK. XD but yea, like that.

 

It sounds interesting.. I might take this up. I'm not sure how one would make it strafe. Let me think on it. XD

 

I've seen something similar to this on The Shield MC, they call it "PvP Academy"

 

It's not that hard to create. I could do the most of this in maybe 2 hours or so, it's the strafing that I have to think about doing.

 

strafing isn't a huge problem, give it an extra .5 blocks forcefield or something. XD
it comboing would be really hard. maybe, just maybe level 9

IK, but i want the plugin for it.

I really like this idea. I really hope someone takes this in. It would be a win win, for them as they can put it on Bukkit as a public download.

Try to use the NPCs/Citizens plugin

Chances are honestly pretty low anybody will code this. I coded this for TheShieldMC, not even aware of any 'Pvp Dojo.'.. It took me a long time to get this done, and it's only done with 3 difficulties. It's not as easy as you'd assume it'd be.

The DojoBot is actually a custom zombie with a couple of custom Pathfinders to make it act more like a player.

 

@Astrocraft25 @EcMiner Yup. That's what I pretty much did. Hooked in disguises and made it a player disguise, actually didn't use much path finders, just forced the entity's target to the specific player.

 

So it's just a plugin that ives a player a 'bodyguard' or something and this buddy will fight with you in epic battles and target the player/mob you're attacking?

I don't think you understand.. that 'schmockyyy' is an npc. Thats what I'm looking for.
