Answered The Update

Hi,

Recently it was revealed that there will be an update for the website. Will the forum update contain cosmetic as well as performance enhancements? Will the BukkitDev account association be fixed?

I recommend everyone post their questions here so the DBO staff don't need to be posting on several threads at once—might keep things contained.

 

ColonelHedgehog Ok, I will post what I know here.

Firstly, bugs like not being able to edit in FireFox should be fixed. As for the account assosiation, I am not sure that will be fixed as Luke controled it. Same with the plugin count not updating.

Sevondly, performance should improve tremendasly, and there should be a good site for mobile (without getting TapaTalk).

Lastly, I thank you for making a thread so that questions are scattered all over the forum.

 

A thread posted in community news and announcements containing all the information would be better suited than an unofficial question/answer thread.

 

jthort Yeah, Curse will make an announcement soon I bet, for now though this is fine I guess.

 

It's better than nothing. This is in no way a replacement for the potential announcement post.

 

Would it be possible to contact lukegb about this? Account association and plugin count are nice features, I wouldn't like to see them abandoned.

 

LordDarthBob I don't believe Luke is going to contine it. I don't want it to go either, An Admin or I will continue it.
