Multiverse 2 is a ground up rewrite of the popular Multiverse plugin for CraftBukkit. There are many new features, the biggest one being the much better usability and cleaner code! MV2 has been in the works for over 2 months and given the size of it, the developers are confident that you'll find a small bug or two. People can't log into my 1060 Bukkit Server!:
Are you using spout? If so, you need to upgrade it to a dev version or disable it until those guys release a 1060 compatible version.

How do I know if I'm running CB XXXX or higher?:
Type /version. The number here is your CB version:

I can tell i definately have the proper permissions due to name color when attempting to go through..

edit! Heres a strange thing..
I can /mvtp to vip2 and take portal back and if i immediately take portal again it will work. however if i wait a few seconds, it tells me i dont have permissions.

Hi there, I´d like to report a bug, which occurs on my little server.
I just use multiple plugins and everything worked since the last Multiverse-update. If I try to use the /mvtp command, just nothing happens. And, which is the much bigger problem, the whole server does not show any reaction anymore. After about 1 minute I get kickedand cannot relogin, because the server doesn´t answer. Is the bug known or any possiblity to fix this?

The problem is that there are no messages and logs. The Server doesn´t do anything after using the command. Also console commands and /reload are not accepted.

Hmm, reinstalling the old version of MultiVerse helped.

Also what is the permission node for using portals?
My users can use them but people with "*" can.
I narrowed it down to 'multiverse.portal.*'
but tried every extention of it that you listed and nothing so.
So for now I'm stuck with giving
- "multiverse.portal.*"
- "-multiverse.portal.create"
- "-multiverse.portal.remove"
- "-multiverse.portal.select"
- "-multiverse.portal.destination"
- "-multiverse.portal.rename"
- "-multiverse.portal.list"

^^ I only want them to be able to use the portals, not create, edit or remove them.

 

I'm pretty sure this is a feature, not a bug; I think it's on the wiki that I read that ghasts will very rarely spawn near portals.

You installed permissions, but did you configure your permissions .yml file?

 

I have the same problem and my permissions is configured, (and the correct version) obviously admins are allowed to do all by default, and im an admin, first time using multiverse but not first time using permissions, still get the error. And just to make sure i added all the permissions to the admin after it didnt work, still nothing :/

 

I have it installed and it works fine all except the create portal commands.

Anyone else restrict access to worlds with the portals using the player-whitelist?

If that's a yes, are you able to have it working on 1.6.4?
Im not having any luck and ive tried everything, It was working with 1.6.3

 

A really nice plugin, just what i need. The multiworld.yml is a bit hard to look through though, would be easier if it was put in order

Nothing happens when i walk into the portal.
Hmm, I've gotten permission worked out i believe and I can use the in-game commands. I've created another world and one portal in each of the worlds. I've set each portals destination to the other world as a test, but that didn't work. Then i tried to set one portals destination to the other, but no success. The chat says it's done and OK, but it doesn't work in practise. Nothing happens when i walk into the area i selected with my wooden pickaxe to create a portal.

I am running Multiverse v1.6.4 ( Fresh install as of 30 minutes before this post)

check Portals config to make sure the portals got put in. also, how are you creating the portal? easiest metho, equip wood pickaxe, left click top left corner, right click bottom right corner, and then /mvpc portal w:worldname

 

I have this same problem.. Even tried backing out to Craftbukkit 740. Still have it.

 

I don't know about the portals config but I'll check that out later. What should i check for exactly?

Nevermind.

I just checked ingame quickly and it seems that if i place the portal on a flat surface, it doesn't matter if i try to go in the portal because it needs to kind of be " air" in the portal space, see?

Same here. I went so far as to remove all worlds but the default and rebuild the MultiVerse.yml, the Worlds.yml, and removing all other-world portals from Portals.yml.
