    Why use MilkAdmin?

There are a lot of alternatives out there that seem to have more features.
Well for a start, MilkAdmin is very easy to install and requires almost no technical knowledge whatsoever to install and run. Not to mention that the server uses only java so configuring a complex webserver is not required as most gamers that play minecraft are gamers and not professional server administrators.

    A list of reasons why to use MilkAdmin;

-Very easy to install and use
-Does not require technical server knowledge
-Does not use an external webserver
    -Does not require configuration
-It's free and open source, I like to be forked on github :p
-It uses a relatively small amount of memory
-It's cross platform (will work like a charm on Linux, OS X and Windows)

And I hope you enjoy my program we put time and effort into it, we appreciate your donations it encourages us and helps every step of the way!

I've downloaded the newest milkadmin and remotetoolkit. Sadly I couldn't do a test run on my computer. The bat file will open then close.

I took a shot and uploaded the new fresh files to my server and ran it with the sh file of remotetoolkit.
Started up fine, restarts and stops like it should.
Back up on the other hand I get the following:
    Code:
    2011-05-10 18:09:01 [SEVERE] Exception in thread "Thread-232"
    2011-05-10 18:09:01 [SEVERE] java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: g

    2011-05-10 18:09:01 [SEVERE] at com.bukkit.sharkiller.milkAdmin.WebServer.run(WebServer.java:499)

    edit:
just tried a simple command in the console on milkadmin.
    "say test"

    Code:
    2011-05-10 18:37:10 [SEVERE] Exception in thread "Thread-1550"

  8. This seems to be a great tool. Maybe the best open source web administration solution even if there are some features missing, I would like to see (upload new plugings trough the interface, edit plugin configurations, maybe a modular system, so you can extend the interface).
Would it be possible to make a project on github? Maybe I can help with the development.

Every Few hours my server auto annonces that it will restart in 10 mins then 5 mins then 1 min then auto restarts.... I cannot find a setting anywhere to disable this... as it is very inconvienent and pointless. Anyone know how to stop this from happening as I am getting very annoyed with it but love what milkAdmin provides.

Navigate to toolkit/wrapper.properties and set server-restart-delay to the following value:
    Code:
    server-restart-delay=0

If this fails, you may be using an extremely outdated version of the wrapper, in which case you will need to update it.

Thank You.. just changed now... will see if it fixes it... it was set to 5h...and that was about how often it did it... so im thinking this may be what i was looking for.. again thank you

Ok... so... Ive changed that value... however the server is still auto restarting... It has been reported to me twice from members and I seen once myself... Players are very annoyed by this... I just checked my wrapper config to a freshly downloaded one... and all the config lines are the same. I know my wrapper is up to date as i just installed milkAdmin only a week ago. Any other suggestions?
    Code:
    My Wrapper Config:

    #Minecraft Remote Toolkit Properties File
    #Tue Sep 06 21:07:54 EDT 2011
    forced-restart-delay=1m
    maximum-heap-size=7G
    toolkit-autoshutdown-alerts=10m,5m,1m
    restart-on-severe-exception=false
    server-saveall-period=0
    extra-runtime-arguments=-Djline.terminal\=jline.UnsupportedTerminal
    force-save-on-restart=true
    server-heartbeat-threshold=1m
    server-restart-alerts=10m,5m,1m
    minecraft-server-jar=craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar
    initial-heap-size=7G
    overridden-process-arguments=
    failed-heartbeat-restart-count=5
    severe-exception-detection-level=1
    server-arguments=nogui
    toolkit-autoshutdown-delay=0
    import-properties=false
    server-restart-delay=0

Re-download the toolkit and tell me the following things:

-What operating system are you using?
-How are you launching the wrapper?
-What is printed when you enter .restarttime into the console? (make sure you start the server with your configuration in place)
-What is printed when you enter .configdirs into the console?

kk so redowloaded.. Running Windows 7 Pro
Launching the wraper with the rtoolkit.bat
when i type in .restarttime it says
    Next restart is in
when i type configdirs it says unknown command.
I've been told however by my members.. that they have not seen the restart screen since the other day... I think I may have forgotten to reset server after adjusting config files.... I had stopped my server to host a temporary 1.8 server and have brought the 1.7 server back up.... with no auto restarts. Thank You for the help you have provided... however.... what is that configdirs command suppossed to do... and why would it not be working.
