    ok could one of the developers tell me about how close you are to finishing this part of the plugin and updating to 1.8?
    how close as in "we are almost finished, just ironing out the bugs" or "we still have a lot to get finished"

    Aww man.. added 8 npcs that were pretty spread out as information desks outside stargates.. and found my servers lag increased dramatically. It basically made it unplayable. At a guess, I'd say it might help if the chunks holding the npcs would be unloaded.. but it was really surprising. Cb740, Cit 1.07i..

    @aPunch Thank you so much! I'm just really excited for the rekease of the update (trying to keep the people in my server from exploring too far away and finding the towns i made). Ill wait for as long as it takes, but its good to know you are pretty close to updating

    I'm currently eagerly awaiting the next update so that I can finally add the plugin to my current server I am in the process of building (crosses fingers for end of this week) but I was wondering if this currently supports or will support iConomy 5.0?

    Most of the plugins have begun making the switch over, and I'd hate to see this one, which I so look forward to, have to be left out of its well deserved slot in my plugins folder simply because of a compatibility issue :(

    Has anyone ever had a problem with the liquids in the game not flowing properly while using this mod?

    Any fix for it?

    It starts out fine for me, and then after a while the water will not flow properly anymore. like you put down water and even after you kill the source you still see the water that flow from the source still there sitting on the ground. and they wont go away. Normally water goes away after you kill the source.

    I always have to restart my server to fix this issue but it always comes back.

    see the problem is that we run through servercraft so its all on the customer portal si im having another look at it now, but no even on hard they didnt show up

    Stop asking when we are going to release. You are lucky we even give you a little information on where we are in the development. Asking slows us down. Because of the posts asking when we are releasing and the redundant bug reports, we have been slowed down a lot.

    Apparently in my case the problem was because I lock the time, so the liquids in the game wont flow. It does make perfect sense. Just sharing the solution for those who had the same issue. and it has nothing to do with this plugin.

  24. Why wouldn't they say soon? They may have plans to get it out shortly, but then are slowed down by people whining, asking questions, etc. Then people will ask later how long it will take and they state "soon" because they think it will be finished within a few days or so, but then of course are held back by people like you wasting their time.

    Please note that "soon" just means within a short period of time. Everyone interprets time differently, so some may interpret "soon" as "within a few weeks" whereas others interpret it as "today". I'm sure that the developers meant "within a week or two" when they said soon, but then was held down by people constantly nagging, reporting bugs that have already been reported over 9000 times and just plain crying.

    You don't like it when we say soon? Well that's the best we can say sometimes. So if you don't want us to say that, then we won't say anything at all. No longer will ANY of us tell ANY of you any type of time frame for when we release.

    Gotta love this plugin, it's working great for me with the current version. Lots of talking npc's add so much atmosphere to my town and once these guys get everything worken just the way they want it to, i'll be happy to get rid of essentials to make this the bases for the economy on my server. Great job guys and great plugin =D
    Was wondering though, since i read a few pages back that it is recommended to delete the old plugin file completely before adding the new one coming out. Does this mean that all previously created npc's are unable to cross over to the new version?

    I don't answer all of the idiot questions. I have to pick and choose which ones I answer. If I don't answer any questions at all, those idiot people will:

    A. Assume we are all dead.
    B. Assume the plugin is no longer being developed.
    C. All of the above.

    You will not need to delete the old plugin file, as the settings not in your plugin file now will auto-generate when you first run v1.0.8.
     
  29. I have been following the last couple of pages of this thread and yes the same redundant question and bug reports do get posted a lot... But instead of repeatedly answering the same questions and expecting users to read through 80 pages of posts why not just amend the original top post with a *Know Bugs* section?

    We have an FAQ section on the wiki. It clearly states "Please read the wiki before asking questions" in the OP. So, people should read the FAQ on the wiki before asking questions and/or reporting bugs.
