Extremely Nervous Q's about Sponge

    Will it be easy for devs to switch from bukkit to sponge? Is sponge java? Is coding for sponge like coding for bukkit? Do they have gluten free cake?

    Depends on what "easy" is in your opinion. The Sponge API will be totally different from the Bukkit API, so plugins will need to be rebuilt from the ground up. Depending on the size or complexity of the plugin, the difficulty to port it can and will vary.

    There is a proposed Sponge plugin which runs Bukkit plugins called Pore, which is a nice bridge for the time being.

    Sponge, like Bukkit, uses Java and an API, but the similarity stops there as far as I know.
