Inactive [TP] PlgWarp v3.0 - warps.txt & multiworld [1.4]

    PlgWarp - Warps using warps.txt with multiworld support:
    Version: 3.0

    Since I want to use a plain warps.txt format and the plugin I used is not updated for multiworld, I made my own. Warps.txt moved to the plugin's folder, not in root anymore, just copy the old one into plugins/PlgWarp/. The old warps that do not support multiworld, will teleport the first world on the server (should be the main one). New warps are ok.

    As in all my plugins, you can now edit the name of commands in plugin.yml.

    Simplewarp users: Jarchuleta did not include pitch in his new warps, you have to add :0 (that's colon zero) at the end of his warps (just add it to the end of a line where there are only four numbers).

    Features:
    • /warp, /setwarp, /removewarp, /listwarps (/warplist)
    • /world teleports you to the spawn point of given world (see /listworlds or /worldlist)
    • uses hMod warps.txt format
    • multiworld supported
    • Op version with /setwarp, /removewarp and /warp <place> <player> only for ops

    as for unicode i cannot use any of my ěščžýáí... it doesn't even display a ? sign
    ops for creation/deletion (it's written in the features list ;) )

    so, i moved, "warps.txt" to the PlgWarp directory and none of my warps work

    i got it, thanks though, i just figured out how Essentials did warps and just converted my warps to that.

    I'd love to have a version of both this and PlgSpawn that ONLY ops can use. I'd like to run a "vanilla" server with extra stuff for OPs to be able to manage things.

    Well since that makes it two of you... use the opop version (updated the main post)

    PlgSetspawn already has an op-only version, Fedora

    I know you love simplicity, but could you just add a config setting for this and make it user switchable? that way you don't have to update all the time. :)


    I wasn't aware that PlgSpawn OP version limited /spawn as well. Awesome.

    Well I don't want to implement my own user settings without bukkit support for this, so I am waiting for that.

    Oh, you don't even want to do config files? Cool.
    I'm totally in support of your work to use only official bukkit stuff.

    Want to do some more coding? :) (I really need to learn java...)

    How about in the opop version, the ability for ops to warp other players around?

    Can I make it so when someone says /warp it names all of the warps but they can still warp place by the /warp {name here} command?

    Grifers are using this to kill players on my server please add a permission node for that option. I basically need to shut down my server to prevent everyone from loosing items.

    Or at least make a version that can't do that.

    Right, only OPs should be able to do this... will update that right away.

    The only thing is that i need players to be able to set and remove warps its just i don't want players able to warp echother around.

    because most general command plugins already let admins tp players to them or to others

    Yeah that's what permissions are for - granular security. I cannot really do that when not using them...
    I added yet another version, no OPs, no warping other players...

    Thanks, Plague--this is a great plugin. FYI, I plan to patch in an option to make users drop all of their inactive inventory when warping. I think it'll make it a little less game-distorting.

    Awesome plugin btw, but when I warp I do lost my skin after warping ingame, I can't see it, but other on the server can see it. I need to reconnect to the server to see my skin again :/ Hope you understand what I mean.

    Yes, this was here even on hMod. From what I understand the problem is you travel across chunks when warping (well of course you do), but skins are ONLY loaded when you cross a line between chunks, and since you ported, this does not happen so you lose your skin.

    Okey, It is possible to fix that? And a other thing, after using warp, mobs, animals and dropped items are invisible :S
