Before I get started I realize there is a "BanManager" plugin but you need a website to do with this plugin, this is a none website verison.

What I want:

A easier ban plugin then Essentials, I found that it's hard to get the time right in /tempban and such. In this it'd make it much easier.

Before I get started let's make some intervals:
W - Week
Y - Year
H - Hour
M - Month
D - Day

So a example of a command I'd like this sort of: /tempban Hacker Hacking 5y
So this would ban him for 5 years and when this player tries to log in it'll tell him the time he's banned for and why he's banned.


Ideas for commands:
Just a list:
/ban player REASON
/tempban player TIME(D,H,W,M,Y) REASON
/mute player TIME(D,H,W,M,Y)
/ipban player (this would list their IP or you can also ban their IP through this command)
/kick player REASON


Ideas for permissions:
Just a List:
ban.ban
ban.tempban
ban.mute
ban.ipban
ban.kick

When I'd like it by:
Maybe a week or so, whenever.

 

This seems to be identical to current essentials syntax, except the time argument comes before reason.

 

I don't see whats wrong with the ban system from Essentials? It works great.

 

This one is simple, instead of seconds you can use intervals.

i dont think people will make this, because ite simple math what you can do yourself when tempbanning someone. :/

 

No it's not it. It has the same formula but it has intervals unlike Essentials where you need to use seconds.

Simple math? Let's say oh someones advertising so it's simple math to do a week in seconds in your head? Right.

Essentials has the same thing, Just not the same order and different format.
/tempban <name> 1w

 

FlyingPig_ um, /tempban user 1y works fine in essentials. Have you tried it?
Off command reference:
<time> Should given in "years(y) months(mo) weeks(w) days(d) hours(h) minutes(m) seconds(s}".
You may omit blank parameters. For example: "2d 5h 30m".
