    Answer: NO.
The plugin is not dead, they are busy working on it to get it fixed for 733.

Patience. But yes, something a mention from the team from time to time would be reassuring.

NOTE: Backup your config files before upgrading, there's a configuration loading issue that might be due to a bug in Citizens. Copy your old configs back after installing, because they will be wiped when you run it the first time.

    This build works for 733+:

It's a fork of the code before the trader stuff was added (but that's not in 1.07 AFAIK), and fixed for 1.5_02.

    Source is here: Github

MD5 on the jar file should be f4a9e0788959837a7a125bf41e9c1765

That build seriously crashed out my CB#735, had to delete quick, went crazy.

I've lost the exception errors up in Screens nomans land... I'll check the logs.

733?? also is it possible to make it so you can make npc mobs to. So you could make an npc named boy then a npc wolf named spike. so for example you type /mob create creeper Bob the frendly creeper. Then you could set the npc creepers text and stuff just like the rest. (sorry about typos i am typing this fast)

Let me know, it's working fine for me minus some nullpointer errors when it boots up, but those don't affect the runtime.

FYI the source link is not in the signature; it was pretty hard to find.

Same here.. I didn't get exceptions, but it locked up the whole world fiercely. That was with the citizens.jar from the attachment above. I tried the github build and was getting this:
    Code:

SCRATCH WHAT I SAID. I'm not sure if this is intentional or not, but Isegal's Citizens DELETES ALL OF YOUR NPC LOCATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T DOWNLOAD IT!

Why did you even download it in the first place? I know you and others may be eager to get a working release, but haven't any of you learned from past examples that unofficial builds cannot be trusted?

Confirming that this works on 733, Thanks Bud! This will do for now while we wait for his update.

If you already had Citizens Plugin
    Backup first
For those people who dont want to lose their npc's when installing this. just replace the Citizens.jar file from this and nothing else.

For those who are just new:
    Backup first
For those who are installing it fresh, download the 1.07g version and just replace with Citizens.jar from this attachment.

    Good luck to ya'll,

It shouldn't *intentionally* delete files. You can see the patch I applied in the github repository, it only modifies how NPC's get added. It's pulled from an older build of Citizens, however, because the newer builds are completely unstable, but they might have fixed some kind of config loading bug between the code I used and the patches-- or introduced that config loading bug recently.

    Apologies if you lost stuff.

You're free to ignore "unofficial builds", but I'm using this version without issue on my server. Yes, the are configuration issues with loading (I've modified my post to notify users), but it works fine. Please lose the FUD; there's nothing wrong with patches, and you're free to browse the modified source and compile it yourself to see exactly what you're getting.

That doesn't look like my fault, it looks like the zip you downloaded was corrupt. Could be the bukkit forums that screwed up. The MD5 hash of the jar is: f4a9e0788959837a7a125bf41e9c1765

I legitimately use this on my server.

Same Here. When I type /citizens help, the message is a little corrupt. No colored text.

That's about the only problem. I have an NPC on my 1.5 server. It's a start.

EDIT** Something is broken.... Ill get you a report. As of right now, I can't access my server. An error happened in java when I tried to make the NPC with the name:
    Quest_Master_Garris

I get this message when trying to login:
    Connection Lost
Internal exceptionL java.io.IOException:Received string length longer than maximum allowed (19>16)

I found out that the NPC (Quest_Master_Garris) when spawned, instantly crashed the client for players around him. He was like a small black hole on my server. I removed the plugin, and all is well. I hope I helped and gave enough info!

Thanks for the fix attempt! =)

  30. How i can skip nights when i use citizens

  31. People, its taking some time because the NPC lib we use needs to be updated and fullwall was the one who implemented it (because he is the plugin owner) and since he is on vacation its taking time to adjust this.

Seeing someone already created their own build on the previous page id like to say: Do not do this
not because it might be faulty but people can get confused on what to do and what not to do.
