PlgColdLightning - Plugin to stop lightning from starting a fire
    Version: v2.0

This is currently only useful when you have a plugin that can strike lightning, like PlgEssentials. Lightning will not cause fires. It will look like there is fire for a little while, but that's just client graphics.

Yeah, that is most likely the case. BUT, it's still funny cause he's the one telling people to put their plugins on the most recent RB. :)

Supposedly, it was solved in bukkit yesterday. I'm keeping the plugin just in case.

According to my twitter feed it was fixed yesterday.

EvilSeph "Fixed rain not putting out fires due to a mistranslation issue."
Which, according to jenkins, was build #730

Well I went to sleep when the latest RB was 684 and then had to go make some money to work. What's so funny about that?

Yes 733 fixes this anyway. I'll keep this updated since I'll use it along with plugin that can make lightning in sunny weather.

Awww... so now lightning can't cause fires anymore... :) Well, at least I don't have to worry about angry users with burnt homes...

Okay, so this is officially out.

But since bukkit fixed the bug when rain did not put out fire, this is only useful for people striking lightning manually on sunny weather.

    @Plague
I'm not saying you're a bad person for sleeping and going to work I'm saying it was a bit ironic. Sorry.

Yes, that's the fix I mentioned.

  21. Why not just cancel the fire in the lightning plugin like thunderjoin did or add it to a config (lightningfire: off)

Edit: Sorry, I guess that was a stupid question to ask you.

So that this can be used where the author of lightning plugin does not have that?

i dont think you and i are thinking of the same thing :p see im a dutch men and i dont know the exact translation of "zeeslag" its a game like someone already made in the alpha version here: www.youtube.com/watch?gl=NL&hl=nl&client=mv-google&v=ImJq6fup7Qs

only my game is alot better :p why i needed the source code for this is becouse if you hit the ground, lightning will strike on the other playerfield. and if it strikes next to you boat your boat still burns down xD and again thnx for this little piece of code :)

yup, you can place boats while clicking on the floor and you have to guess where your opponent has placed his boats. who the first destroy all enemy boats wins;)

  29. The rain usually puts out the fire anyways. :D

this was created when there was a bug in bukkit, rain did not put fire out. Now it's useful for plugins offering /lightning command even when not raining.
