    Why use MilkAdmin?

There are a lot of alternatives out there that seem to have more features.
Well for a start, MilkAdmin is very easy to install and requires almost no technical knowledge whatsoever to install and run. Not to mention that the server uses only java so configuring a complex webserver is not required as most gamers that play minecraft are gamers and not professional server administrators.

    A list of reasons why to use MilkAdmin;

-Very easy to install and use
-Does not require technical server knowledge
-Does not use an external webserver
    -Does not require configuration
-It's free and open source, I like to be forked on github :p
-It uses a relatively small amount of memory
-It's cross platform (will work like a charm on Linux, OS X and Windows)

And I hope you enjoy my program we put time and effort into it, we appreciate your donations it encourages us and helps every step of the way!

I was wondering if there was any way of setting the console up to show the bottom of the log info when you set it up to show more lines.

Thought I'd put in that I'm running CB 714 and everything seems to run smoothly. The Stop and Restart buttons seem to not work. Only major issue I'm having, not sure if it is this plugin, but everyone on my server at random times gets kicked out for Timed Out errors, the server keeps running, but no command I send to it, either by MilkAdmin or SSH do anything, not even a message saying to use /help for a list of commands.

edit: any commands made in the milkadmin console don't go through.

Make sure the Remote Toolkit wrapper is working if you want to use stop/restart.

The topic of the thread still says 677, have you done any updates in the last week or two?

The stop/restart and what not were working back in the 67x versions of CB.

Those two features are craftbukkit build independent, and will even work if the toolkit is used with a Vanilla server. Even so, everything has been tested to work properly. I'll do a few tests with this plugin tonight.

I can't seem to get milkadmin to generate backups when I click the backup button on the control panel. It used to work just fine on my old vps, but ever since I went with this new host, I can't seem to find where it's storing my backups. I would assume it'd just have used the same folder, backups in the root directory, but this folder remains curiously vacant. Is there any way to check where it's saving them or the like? Or if it's saving them -at all-?

installed the most recent version of open java runtime environment just 3 or 4 days ago, and am running a debian VPS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are using CB 689 and up, the backup seems to have stopped working because the world saving doesn't get disabled. I can't even send commands through the milkadmin console :/

I have tested those two features and they work fine. Double check settings.yml to make sure the Toolkit login details are correct.
Also, double check that the functions work through https://drdanick.com/mcremote (NOTE: Stop is listed as 'hold')

This plugin would be good if it has a live map feature as well because Dynmap is outdated and buggy

    Liger_XT5

Dynmap may seem a bit buggy, but I haven't had any issues with it if you use chrome. Firefox shows the map, but no players show.

Frankly, I've been having trouble with the stop/restart even with the newest wrapper mentioned in the OP. I can still use the restart and stop commands in the console, just from milkadmin, I haven't seen it auto restart in a while.
Just because I didn't want to make a mistake, I just tried the restart link in milkadmin. Console showed "From wrapper: rtk_timeout"
Milkadmin would do it's 20 second countdown and direct me to :64712/server/index.html which returns a blank page.
I'll double check to make sure I'm using the newest wrapper, but a couple weeks after 1.5 came out I've noticed there hasn't been any auto restarts.

seriusly? what version do you use? this command work, and not have to be fixed in any update to the wrapper. Recently I tried restart, stop, and start from the page and work with the countdown great.
    you have win xp?

i cant get to login, with U: admin P: admin
    and i dont see a admin.ini file.
    anny ideas?

  28. Offline

    sharkale

    {server folder}/milkAdmin/admins.ini

edit this file and write only this:
    Code:
    admin=c7ad44cbad762a5da0a452f9e854fdc1e0e7a52a38015f23f3eab1d80b931dd472634dfac71cd34ebc35d16ab7fb8a90c81f975113d6c7538dc69dd8de9077ec
then restart the server and use admin:admin in the login

The wrapper has not needed updating on any of my test servers for about 2 months now; it's likely to be something wrong on just your end. Try removing everything to do with the toolkit, especially the configuration files and doing a fresh install. It sounds to me like it's either not running it at all, or theres an odd configuration error. Verify it's running by entering a few wrapper specific console commands (.hold, .unhold, .help, .version, etc)
