What if you mining shafts underground? I see that this plugin can be very irritating, even on surface. Everyone knows what biomes look like. :(

sounds, interesting... i would try it but my people might complain, kinda like they are with that permissions plugin bug "you don't have permissions to use this" but they can still use this and all it does is spam them.

I really dig this but the biome messages are subjected to the nature of minecraft biomes which does cause frequent messages in some areas. Some biomes are split up so deep they change back and fourth every five blocks or so. Aside from the nature of the game, being able to /b or /b <player> I do find to be very interesting in conjunction with command signs for instance.

This could be extremely useful when you want specific biomes, and sometimes they aren't all that easy to spot, especially on a pre-generated map that's been heavily modified. I would love to use this, but as people above have mentioned, the spam caused by overlapping biomes would be really annoying. If you add a way to toggle off the messages for entering biomes, or remove it completely, a lot more people would be willing to use it.

Wouldn't you just not give anyone the message permission...from what I'm seeing that should work.

Could we get a command to disable the messages? Then I can just have it on or off by default, and let my users turn it on if they want it.
Also I have '*' for permissions so I can't remove the permission from myself as far as I know.

You should update the version tag since it works without problems on Build 860. :)

If you write on your permissions:
    - '*'
    - '-biomessege.getmessage'
then you get all but get message.
    easy
