Hi, I am kinda new to java so I was wondering if anyone knew how to setup the basic structure of a plug-in that when you type in "/nb f " as a command it will then place a Note Block, the next place you click, already set to play the f note? Any help would be appreciated since I am kinda a newbie to most of this stuff. (I do have a some experience in java though) Thanks!

Hey that is a really good idea! I think i will try to add this to PlgEssentials. If of course it is done at least similar to wool colors...

The problem is that there are two different octaves, you'd have to do something like

    /nb 2F

To make sure you get the right octave.

That really is not a problem, now is it? :)

That would be absolutely fabulous! It would be great if you added it since my server is already running the general essentials plug in. It would make things a lot easier for people building complex structures with Note Blocks. I'll look forward to it!

Did anybody actually managed to change the noteblock's note?
I tried changing the block data value without success...

Same I tried for hours that is where I got stuck making the plug-in, I thought I was just doing something wrong.

PlgEssentials is not Essentials (the one associated with General. It is my own plugin for my server. But since you were making a plugin yourself you can always use the code (if/when I get the noteblocks working).
