[UTIL] Remove .DS_Store Files (Mac)

    Open this up with terminal and drag the folder you want the .DS_Store files removed from

    What is the point in ds store files? I'm a windows user, so I have no idea what they do xD

  4. I think their similar to thumbs.db files on Windows

    Why would you need to remove them, exactly? Also, there's an app called DesktopUtility that allows you to see hidden files, which you can get here.

    You dont even need that app. Just run the terminal command

    Mavericks:
    defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE
     
    Other:
    defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE

    Just as I was going to get my pitchforks and torches out of the shed...


    I believe people have had issues with eclipse (ew) exporting them despite them not being checked.
