maybe u should try to make that we can select 1 point and 2 point. To create a hidden place. inside the box or whatever we made. So the name will not show outside to other people.. i have not tested the plugin yet. so i don't know if it does that already..

    I'd like
    - Permissions support
    - Blocks allowed to be use as secret doors.

What do you mean with 1 point and 2 point? Disabling the name over the user isn't possible, I'm sorry.
Yep... as a quick workaround until I find a better way you could click the short side of the door as shown in this screenshot:
I just tried that and it works as expected. I'll try to find another way to get around that though.
What do you mean by that?

@ everyone requesting Permissions support: alright I'll do it. But with only one node: SecretDoors.use. So you can choose wheter or not an user is allowed to open and close those secret doors.

This is awesome. It was easy to set up and hide a door to make a secret room.

I did some messing around with it for fun and kicks ... looks like using slabs of any sort will automatically revert to the original stone slab, and using colored wool will revert to white wool; I assume that using birch or redwood would cause it to default to ordinary wood. . It worked fine using fences, though the door could be seen through the fence... and when a fence was set up to stand next to the door, the two fence posts joined when the door was closed. Stairs blocks changed orientation.

Workbenches, Chests, and Furnaces all orient away from the player, backs of chests, backs of furnaces, etc..

Trying to use a Workbench that is hiding a door: The crafting screen appears briefly, then vanishes as the door opens

Trying to use a Chest that is hiding a door (with open space above): Chest opens, door does not move. Accessing the door above the chest will open and shut the door and leave the chest in place sometimes; the chest vanishes at other times. I'll mess with it some more, but I can see a way that this can be used in conjunction with pressure plates to make chests that are hard to access.

Trying to use a furnace that is hiding a door: Booted from server

It let me back in without any problems. I was playing by myself so I'm not sure if this impacts just me or multiple players.

I love this plugin. I used to just make hidden rooms by just walling them up; not having to replace smoothstone or dirt for every hidden room is going to rock.

    Thanks for your feedback :)
Preserving the block data (color, slab type, wood type, etc.) is already on the todo-list.
On the chest, furnace and crafting table: I guess i'll restrict them for leftclick to use them as hidden door so the rightclick functionality would be preserved.
I'll have to try that later.
Thanks again for testing and your extensive feedback :)

    Edit:
Alright, small update on the booting and the irregular behaviour of containerblocks:
By clicking the front face (the one directly facing you), you open the secret door. by using any other face you can interact with the block as usual.

The booting occurs because I set the block to air before the inventory gets opened. Shouldn't do any harm though, reconnect and that's it. No need to challenge your luck though ;)

I would recommend using leftclick on them for secret doors right now though, as the behaviour on rightclick is different for the different container blocks.
    Will be fixed soon though

I can't really follow that part. Would you mind screenshotting that for me or to join my testserver in order to show me?

Ah ok. I get the same results. The question is: Is that good or not so good? Did you want two seperate posts or a fence like in the screenshot? There's no screenshot of the situation before using the door.

It is fine for me, actually. I like it as-is because it kinda creates a "gate" for the fence, with the fence look and feel still being intact. I dislike using doors with fences because it looks ugly, but I could see myself using this. Personally? Don't change it. Others might disagree, however.

i think he means that if you place lets say wood in front of a door then it wont act as a secret door.
this would be handy for me also because alot of my doors are placed in corners so that they are always closed.
    Code:
    [S][S][S] _ _ _ _ [S]=stone

    [_][D][S] _ _ _ _ [D]=door

    [S][_][S] _ _ _ _ [ ]=air

/\ I got tired of people leaving my doors open and having creepers visit.

we have a bug on our server unfortunately i dunno if its just double doors buti t makes all the blocks vanish and reappear at the side of our house as well. so theres a gaping hole

    that said..

i cant WAIT for the unbugged and fully updated version of this plugin to come out! it is amazing! do you think you could do this for chests or have redstone effect it?

With a single door, also a small problem, the wall disappears.
The players who want to make doors for easy entry of their home are annoyed to click on the small side of the door
    : (

    This works great.

@alcol 's problem, I think maybe what you should do is use an iron door instead, and just make it so the iron door can be walked through (and invisible) when door is opened, but when the door is closed you still can't walk through the blocks of course. That way, the door is always directly in front (like it should be since an iron door cannot just be opened without redstone or lever application.)

I did not understand everything, (I do not practice often the English :() but if you talk to replace wooden doors with normal use by an iron door, the LWC plugin not work on the iron doors.

This is great, but it freaks the heck out on all my wood doors with pressure plates in front of them. Opening the door from the side without the pressure plate causes the pressure plate to disappear, and then closing the door causes it to reappear and I guess trigger itself, which opens the door again. I'm assuming you're going to add a way to specify blocks to exclude, but if not, one vote for at least excluding pressure plates or making them less crazy somehow!

With this fix, your plugin is ok ! thanks a lot !
I don't use "permissions" but can you add a config files make this Ops only ? Only ops can put secret doors ! Players can just find and open it ;)

I think the "remind the player to close the door" can be resolved by making this work with pressure plates, buttons or levelers.

Yes Avous and alcol, it's essentially the same thing as with double doors. As a workaround use the short side of the door to close it (as shown in the screenshot a couple of posts above) until I found a way to circumvent this. Sorry for the inconvenience :/

Do what exactly for chests? I'll have to take a look at toggling the doors with redstone, but I don't promise anything on that part.

Haven't tried pressure plates, thanks for the feedback. Yes, I'm planning on adding a way to specify which blocks can be used as secret doors.

I'll have the Permissions support default to op if configured. However, I won't add a function that only ops can create secret doors, that would add too much overhead in my opinion.

The "remind the player to close the door" is the easiest thing to do, no need for pressure plates or anything on that part.

like real secret passages :p turn the torch and the wall opens zomg. lol

    like those kinda features

and thanks again for the plugin :p i plan to make mazes mwahaha and pit falls when pressure plates work. would be awesome if you could toggle on/off selected blocks with a cmd when placing so you could make a dirt patch pitfall XD

    edit:

found a problem XD i was randomly trying the door on stuff and it wont work on cactuses.. it destroys the cactus and the door dropping them but not the top part of the door.

    edit no.2:

    Nother glitch!

this deletes chests. and removes all the contents it completely bypasses my lock command... please help!

    edit:no.3

it destroys torches ladders and cacti oh my!
