Looking for a multi-world plugin that supports portals



Hello Bukkit community!

I have been using multiverse for quite a while now and it's getting very out-dated. The creator of MultiVerse says that the plugin is to complicated and he doesn't have enough time to maintain it. So not I am on the hunt for a new multi-world plugin. I am looking for a plugin with these features:

- Activity maintained
- Support for portals between worlds
- Multi-inventory support (Separate inventories for each world.)
- Support for custom generation options and GameRule settings per-world

Multiverse works fine and the documentation is very clear https://github.com/Multiverse/Multiverse-Core/wiki

 

I know, but it is terribly out of date and not longer being worked on.

 

It isn't outdated, It just works so well that it doesn't need any update. Multiverse works fine, and if you want to use portals to go around your world, then use Multiverse Portals aswell.

 

Just because something hasn't been updated in awhile doesn't mean it's broken.

 

Multiverse has a decent amount of maintainers doesn't it?

 

Simple, Multiverse works perfectly fine (obv not tested with 1.7.2 as its not made yet) multiverse portals works well although abit complicated, use world portal for world teleportation (not cross world)

What are the odds it will work with 1.7.2 ?

 

Wormhole X-Treme is a good multiverse system. I use it... It's not really known though

What I do, Since I like the wormholes more than the Multiverse portals, is Use Multiverse-Core for the multi-world system, and use the wormholes for the portals. Nice part bou't the wormholes is you don't have to have a specific one for each world (thats hard for me cause I have almost 30 worlds) It has a little dialing device to go to different portals. But the wormhole plugin has another wormhole plugin that works like multiverse, except idt you can add on a spawn... It sucks but its a really cool plugin.

He is currently rebuilding the entire plugin and has been since February 2013. Its still out of date but its being worked on at least.

 

The same as between any version as far as I'm aware.

 

Well, maybe. 1.7 is a world generator update. Because of that, I need a up-to-date multiverse plugin that supports all the new biomes and world type.

 

Why? It'll probably work just fine.
