NEW IP HELP

so my server host was like "evey server will have a new ip next month" i was like wtf why
so is it possible to redirect the server to the new ip
or use something like no-ip(cant use that i dont host the server)
is there something like that for payed servers?

Well, you can always ask the host what your new IP will be.

 

U can use noip... Just point it to ur current ip then after the change point it to the new one

If you don't mind, but what server host are you using? because doing something like this is just ridiculous. If I were you I would complain about this. However, I think that both Nemesis213 and HelpfulBeast are good things to do if you were to stay with this host.

30 years ago or so some one foresaw your problem and came up with a brilliant solution. Domain names. Go buy one. It also look a lot better than having your server presented as a arbitrary string of numbers.

 

Completely agree. You can redirect your domains to any IP and it doesn't affect your players. It's a great solution for your problems. If you have enough money to run a server, you should put some money into a domain. It doesn't cost a lot. I believe you can get .info domain for around $3 for the whole year at godaddy.com.

I agree with your post here. Reason being, that is absolutely terrible service if they are changing IP Addresses.

 

They dont know yet its all happeneing on the day

Get a sub domain from afraid.org. I would recommend a minecraftr.us subdomain name
