my guess is that his code is very limited and its very buggy...but looks like invalid sector means it cant detect the right sector so it errors. (again limited test/fix)... best bet is to use a back up of your map... but if not having one you can get FBackup. I learned my lesson with blue crashes and corrupted maps so i use back ups! yay good luck!

OMG! This worked like a charm. I have been having lots of problems with my World with Bukkit after the Beta 1.4 Launch. The server has been working fine in Vanilla Minecraft Server but with bukkit it gave me lots of SEVERE messages. Ran THIS and it fixed all of my problems. You are awesome!! Keep up the good work :D

I've got the path specified... but how does one run the program in cmd? when i type java -jar Chunkster.jar <world directory> cmd tells me 'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, etc etc.

Please help, i've been trying for the past 2 hours reading all the posts but still no luck.:'(

What OS are you running? If its an a Linux server just type what it says in the OP.

    java -jar Chunkster.jar 'worldname'

Make sure to backup your world folder first just incase.

use the same system you do to start your servers, placing pertinent info such as Chunkster.jar instead of craftbukkit.jar

No one has directly answered my question that I originally posted but based on reading other posts, you need linux to run the java command(can't use cmd prompt since java isn't a recognized command), on windows you would have to make a batch file of the command I think.

    Random_noobs

does anyone have the proper code for making the batch file? I tried using the same above listed code into a batch file and it too did not work.

After some time googling this and that I think I figured out how to use it. I made a how to video
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HDDt7qAHQQ

=D it worked on my files, anyway.

Edit: I dont know what to think now. It worked on one map,but in another copy of the same map it didnt find any errors, even though I am looking at the same errors that were fixed in an older copy of the world... I am confused.
