    Hi
Everytime i use the regen(regeneration) command in WorldEdit, my world didn't regen correctly.
It loads terrain that not consort with the existing structure. I try it in terrain which i havn't edit before, but it loads false terrain.

How can i repaired it and get the correctly regen, or it is a bug in WorldEdit?

    Is the seed set correctly?

Every few upgrades to Minecraft, the world generator is updated. When you regenerate blocks they are based on a newer generation, you will get these results. Unfortunately there aren't many options. You can either smooth the terrain manually, or move to a newly generated world.

Hm, so i must use a older world generator to regen correctly? Or is there a other way?

    I don't know. I didn't write down the seed.

This is an issue with your seed and changes to the world generation engine, not something that we can assist you with.

    Sorry.

Is this a one-time regen? How large is the area? In theory you can revert back to an older CraftBukkit version and downgrade WorldEdit at the same time. I wouldn't going through all of this unless it was very important.

Or you could load the world into mcedit and use the chunk control tool to regenerate the chunks you want using an old minecraft server version.

Ok so i must choose a older chunkgenerator in mcedit or i must use a plugin where i can choose different chunkgenerators for regen.(If these plugin exists) Ok thanks. I think the problem is "solved". If someone make such plugin or these feature for worldedit... i think it will also for other people a good thing.

    Thank you all.

  10. is there a way to regen load of chunks with a sertain seed .. so i can get rid of the giant oceans on my map
instead of manually building land like the giant desert i made

You could probs. just change the seed in the level.dat with a NBT editor and use //regen then
