I have seen some servers with a creative world plugins which allows you to claim a plot and build in creative. You guys know any plugins like this?
Like MasterMindMassey said PlotMe will control plot generation. Essentials will allow for game mode changing Multiverse-Core will allow for multiple worlds, either by creating or importing them Those three combined will give you a world with plots in creative. Now you need a permission plugin and a way to move around. My server has six worlds: Kingdoms - Towny world Wilderness - world to gather resources and is reset monthly Wilderness_Nether - same, but nether Plots - PlotMe standard world Creative - PlotMe creative world Arena - Flat world for mob arenas, PvP arenas, Paintball arenas, ect... I have about 52ish plugins that control my server. I hope this gives you an idea about what you might be getting into.
essentials is not needed to change gamemode multiverse can do it. by changing the maps gamemode it will auto change the player when they join that map. why is every one so essentials,essentials is best FML, its so crap. It lacks any decent permissions sturcture. it takes atleast an hour to hand out permissions for the stupid crap because none of it is grouped. I can do the exact same thing with command book tpa and all in 10 min and it does not take 45 min to find a setting in its config. for a simple economy Fe works great.
Hey! Essentials is an amazing plugin! This thread isn't even about essentials! You don't have to be so negative about essentials. If Essentials was such a bad plugin, then they wouldn't have 3,355,134 downloads!
Okay i got the creative and plotme working, but now players go to a other world and still have the items they had in the plotme world get multiverse inventories. EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
Just a comment about Essentials. Whilst it has some good uses it's indeed massively overboard if you just want to do a simple task like changing your game mode and will cause more lag than if you got a simple plugin to do it.
