[URGENT!] Help with NameTags and TagAPI

Help me! On my server I have the plugins NameTags, TagAPI, and ColoredTablist. Before I installed NameTags and TagAPI, everything worked great! Now, I installed them and when I press tab I only see my name and not the player's name in front of me. Here is a picture:



Also, the nametag above the players head shouldn't be italicized and my nametag (you can' see) is all randomized. I have not even added permissions yet for the colors and when I removed ColoredTablist, not one single name appeared in the tablist (not mine, not anyones!)
Please help me! I checked the startup text and everything and there is o error anywhere!

 

For any color or format, you gave yourself that permission node. Don't grant nodes you don't want.

 

I don't have any permission nodes except ones for essentials

The config has an option to change the color in the tab list if you turn that off it will go back to the way it was.

 

Ok, so I tested to see what would happen if I uninstalled both plugins (NameTags and TagAPI) and I still had some wierd problem so I am thinking it might be another plugin. But still, I do have a problem with NameTag. Here is my permsissions file: http://pastie.org/8122511

You have the '*' node, which means you've granted every node every plugin will ever have. That's a bad idea. Remove that.

 

Thanks but how will I get all the perms then? I am the owner so I want to have command over all my staff members and be able to do every command!

 

Grant the perms. It's better to do it right than to be lazy.

 

Thanks! So I just need to add every single perm manually or can I do essentials.* and spleef.* and so on without messing it up again?

 

Most plugins have permissons have a .* permission, but not all. You'll have to refer to their documentation for that.
