Faction prefix broken "[FACTION]"

Hello, Since i have updated factions to 1.8.x it's been giving me this problem for months now were the prefix looks like [FACTION] in the chat. I have tried many things to fix this but they just don't work!
I heard this has something to do with the essentials plugin interfering, Ill give a list of my plugins but i would appreciate if someone could upload there factions and essentials config for me to use!

Essentials is not interfering, it just doesn't seem to be supported anymore in 1.8
If you want to keep the chat tags with EssChat stay at the 1.6 branch (which is still being updated).
Same for Windows. Stay with Windows 7 or lose the start button (beside these start button hacks)
