PermissionsEx Donator not working.

im not entirely sure i might be doing it right but i checked a yaml checker and it said it was correct. Also ive read over Pex's Wiki probably 5 times and im either just not seeing it or it just doesnt work like this.

Basically i want a player to stay a member but only gain SOME of the donator stuff..

I made donator have the inheritance of member meaning they get all the member commands.

 

yea but thats not what im trying to do, im trying to do the opposite.
the pet plugin allows you to have pets, i want pets to be sold seperately, i have an auto donation plugin so when they say buy a pig, i want that player to still be a member but able to summon a pet pig. but if they buy the donator rank then they get 3 pets + whatever other perks

That is what this does, any perm you give the donor group member will not get. I don't get whats wrong.

Tang is a member but he bought a pet pig\villager.. i want him to be able to use it when other members cannot.

 

Try using group manager! Alot better then PEX

 

Ok this is really bad he is looking for a small fix and you are asking him to change plugin completely keep stuff like this to yourself.

And moving on, I understand what you mean now so if you want to automate this you could assign the users the permissions with /pex user <user> add <permission> or you could just add the permissions you want to the member group.

Your formatting was off 4 spaces almost everywhere and some parts were off by 3.
