Sort plugins by popularity?

Just an idea, but would it be possible to sort the results of plugin search by popularity?
Currently plugins are just sorted by their last update.
Popularity could be just the number of total downloads, or the amount of times the page was visited (I don't know if these statistics are available internally)

I think by update is fair, but add another sort option for popularity based off the week, the month, and overall.

Exactly what I meant, any chance this can get implemented in bukkitdev in some way? it is possible, so I guess it isn't really much work for the curse people to implement this.

 

*facepalm* TnT means just use that, or you can go on mcstats and get the popular plugins.

 

I know, but still, it might be a useful improvement on bukkitdev, even if it's available at curse.com. No need to facepalm there.

 

But we want people to download the small plugins too.
