Solved essentials.chat.color permission isn't doing anything

    only god and up have access to color permission? if you are testing as god and up, paste startup log.

    Was helping get relevant information because sometimes it can be a simple mis-spell/mis-configuration, and I'm sure the info I asked for will help anyone else to solve your issue.

    hm, update to 2.10.1, test again with OP, see if you get colored chat, check back with god group only.

    hm, can you type /ess debug, try use color, and paste console? looks like a permission issue here

    hm, SOMETHING is overriding the chat, but i dont know what it is, sorry.

    I may be nocheatplus as it has a chat color prevention but i cant seem to find the permission node that stops this.

          actions: log:color:0:1:if cancel
    Set active to false.

    AND/OR:

    Here's the permission:
    nocheatplus.checks.chat.color
